Great thread & info! Thanks for sharing.. I'm gaming an M1 with that tour Spec evo right now..

Happy to share!

Ok so some new toys coming, info and pics soon. I will say 1 is a new wedge and the other is a new Driver shaft. The shaft is one that gave me some really good numbers in my fitting in fact the fastest ball speed. Naturally I must try it in the real world on the golf course :) Stay tuned ;)

Just in case you were wondering (and I know you were) the KuroKage XTS 70X driver shaft you sold me is still awesome. It literally has beat out everything ADDI, ADMT, ADBB, Kyoshi Tour Blue, Purple, Rogue, and more.

So thanks! :nyam:

FYI, There is no such thing as a GBB 815. The 815 is just the BB Alpha. The current model is the GBB, and the players driver is the BB Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond.

Same family of drivers. Cally using same popular name. Pretty sure everyone knew what I was talking about. Search using GBB 815 and see what comes up. But thanks for coming to the rescue of my post. I will probably still add "great" because frankly it is.

Okay so the contender has arrived. The Paderson Kinetixx imrt Green 75x. This is one of the shafts that fit me well at my Club Champion fitting. It came in first for ball speed and 3rd for dispersion. This along with the Accra fx and Xphlexxx Agera (currently playing) were the best fit for me.

So anyway below are the specs and some pics. I want to see what this Kinetixx shaft can do in the real world. The look is certainly unique and the exposed fibers look very cool. Will it take the top spot? I have no idea but any shaft or club in my bag needs to earn the starting role, no paper champs in my bag !! :)

First round this weekend and I'm also going to be testing on certain days where I can hit a bunch of shots off different tees.

To be honest before my fitting I didn't know the company. At this point I've read up on them including the piece WRX did. I've also looked at some feedback and most has been positive. Like I said the shaft gave me some good numbers in my fitting so it made it to real world testing :)

Played yesterday in a normal round and today played by myself in a practice round where I could hit a multitude of shots from different tees. THis to me is the end all be all of driver/shaft testing. Keep in mind this was not a shot in the dark but after a trackman fitting so I knew the shaft would work fairly well. My process is weed out the shafts that don't work and the 2 or 3 that give me the best numbers usually make it out into the real world/ golf course for real deal testing. Once I get to that point there's no more LM's, numbers, monitors ect.. It's me, a driver head, and the little white ball in essence real golf.

I"m going to give a more in depth review of the what i saw in flight, distance, ect.. but for now some more pics and if you look at the last pic it pretty much sums up the battle. I hit a TON of drives with both combos built at the same length and when I was sifting through pics this one summed up the entire battle. The one in the middle of the fairway and about 10yds closer to my target was the Xphlexxx Agera, the one in the first cut to the right is the Paderson Kinetixx Green.

I'll keep this short and sweet but overall I really enjoyed the Paderson shaft. Has a good feel to it performs well and for the money is priced very competively. As I said a few times already this was one of the shafts that fit me well when i went to Club Champion for a full bag fitting. Things got narrowed down to 3 options for me, Accra FX, Paderson Kinetixx Green, and my existing shaft the Xphlexxx Agera.

From my fitting:

Spin (lowest to highest)
1. Agera
2. Accra FX
3. Paderson Green

Ball Speed
1. Paderson Green (fastest)
2. Xphlexxx Agera
3. Accra FX

Launch (lowest to highest)
1. Agera
2. Accra FX
3. Paderson

Okay so that's how they stacked up and all were in the same ball park. For me the next step was getting them on course and seeing how the performance translates to the real world as we all know golf isn't playing on a launch monitor. With all that said Paderson was up first against the Agera which has been an unbelievably good shaft for me. When I hit both off each tee I quickly began to notice the Paderson wanted to go right and seemed to be spinning more as I didn't have as much carry or roll out. Now I didn't tip the Paderson so I could probably get the spin down but the Agera is untipped as well and actually lower in CPM. Dispersion with the Paderson was good but not as tight as the Agera and to be honest I've found nothing that touches it in that department. The pic I posted of the two shots (bottom pic) is a perfect example between the two. The Agera was just longer and straighter no way around it. Although the Paderson gave me higher ball speed in my fitting the distance on course was less because imo it was spinning more and I could tell the tip was softer then the Agera. Launch was a little higher compared to the Agera which increased my decent angle leading to less roll. Anyway I was really impressed with the Paderson shaft and with the price point you might want to give it a try. They definitely know what they are doing and the visible fiber is pretty cool if you ask me.

Rate as follows

Spin:
1. Agera - lowest
2. Paderson

Launch
1. Paderson (about 1* higher
2 Agera

Distance
1. Agera by 8-10yds on average
2. Paderson

Feel
1. Agera is perfection it really is.
2. Paderson - no slacker either just feels a little looser

Dispersion
1. Agera - all day every day
2 Paderson - pretty darn good but a bad swing and it would take off right. No bueno for me i hate right.

Nice review. I'd need 10+ more mph to swing either of those beasts, but still a good read. I like the on-course testing. There really is no substitute.

It's amazing how green the courses have stayed so late into the season this year. I played your club what seems like a lifetime ago in a junior tournament. From what I remember, it was a fun track!

Enjoy the (handicap) offseason.

Agree on course is king. Trackman and other LM's are great for narrowing the field then it comes down to hitting the white ball. Yeah the weather is great here, 72* today actually. Small world playing my track, the course is great and the greens are without a doubt some of the best in the state.

Nice write up J! I saw the Paderson stuff online a little while back and read some good reviews, but no one I knew had hit one. Good to hear it is a solid performer. I am in the same boat that the Agera just keeps beating everything else out there. HZRDUS was close, but it too goes a little right and the Agera just goes straight.

Paderson is a good shaft and for the price point a good deal.

@knudson- Agera is so good isn't it. But I'll have no paper champs in my bag it will continually be tested!

@pure - exactly

Paderson got another round in today and same result. Good feel to it just not working as well for me.

A few more rounds with the Paderson and i'm confident that the Agera is a better fit. More fairways hit and less punishing on bad swing. Overall though the Paderson is a good shaft and for the $199 pricetag worth a try.

A few shots of the current bag.

[/quote]

It's been working well. Last round I used the Odyssey WHP #7 and putted well also. So I"m not 100% sold on it yet but it hasn't let me know down and seems to give me better speed control vs the #7. The plan is to work with both over the winter and see who wins out.

I have not. I didn't think of it when I had my fitting so not sure if they carry one. Obviously local shops don't keep that on shelves as I believe it's part of their MOTO program. I see your playing it so you must like it. Have you hit the M1 to compare?
