Right now I believe it's around 4-6 weeks or so

Wonderful, thank you for the info. I know it's worth the wait. The last Studio Stainless they did for me was absolutely perfect.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this shop still accepting orders? Was kicking around refinishing some woods a year ago, and was going to pull the trigger this offseason.

Yes, they are.  I sent a putter in a few weeks ago.  They called me when they received it to verify what I wanted. 

 

I was told 4-5 weeks before they would be able to do the work.

Can't speak to the book face page, but it would seem Continental Golf are no longer sponsors of WRX.  As such, they're limited in what and how they can post, with respect to their business.  With them not posting here much, the traffic dwindled.

To be honest they probably have more than enough work to manage as is with a 4-5 week turnaround time going.  I know the traffic this post generated provided them with a TON of work in the past and they probably can't handle much more right now so they don't need to sponsor for a while.

I can't verify, but i get the impression the person who was in charge of social media and GolfWRX is no longer there.  I think its a bunch of "mature" folks that run CG and do all the work.  Hence the lack of update and representation.  As I said, just an educated guess, I could be way off.

They just refinished a putter for me near the end of last year. I filled out the form they have on line and sent it in the box with my putter head.

Once they received the putter head the rep called me to confirm what I wanted. I spoke with him on the phone about the refinish and he said they are still as busy as ever.

 

Took about 6 weeks total for mine, out and back, iirc.

I spoke to them this week. Sent them two og (2018) Rogue fairway heads (4, 7) to revive and change to a matte finish. They said to expect them back in 5-6 weeks.

Sure. Will do. That 7 wood is one of the best ever made. Bonded hosel but doesn’t matter because it sits square. Callaway didn’t make a huge number of them and they are known for their performance so you don’t see a lot out there in great shape. I picked these two heads up for a song. Had senior flex shafts but I only cared about the heads. The 4 is rougher, has a lot of paint chips, but it’s all cosmetic, no dents — and I figured if I am getting it done, I want them to match. 
 

I made sure to take pics before they were refinished. It will be cool to see what Continental does with them. He told me for a matte finish they still do a gloss refinish and then buff to matte.

Yes, Matte black with the carbon weave still showing through on the rear of the crown like it does now. Will change the accent color from teal to silver, gray or maybe an old gold.

Did they give you a general cost to how much it would be? Thinking about sending in one three wood head for them to work on, but, I can't find a general quote.

Sure. I’m not doing anything fancy to mine. It is $60 per head if you send in head only. For a fairway head design I really feel confident with and know my distances, and for the quality work they do, I think it’s worth it.
