Does anyone use their Jones Player’s on a push cart? Does it work well or is it a little too unstructured? Do you mount it with the spine down to the cart? Thanks in advance...

the Jones black Players Series bag is awesome for playing par 3 / exec courses or rounds with half sets. Really like the strap on the Players, minimalist design, and the zippers (weird to say, but the zippers feel durable and have a great quality to them).

Any Players or Originals users come from a Callaway Hyperlite Zero or Sun Mountain 2.5? Thoughts on the differences between the bags? I'm contemplating making the switch from the Hyperlite Zero. Thanks

What's the stand mechanism like on the Utility?  Does it bind up the bottom like a Hoofer, or more of an exposed foot type design?  Looks more Hoofer like in the pics, but never seen one in person.

Gave mine away and don’t remember. Have a Trouper 2.0 now. Never had a problem with the stand on either.

I think it’s closest to the vessel mechanism.  Base stays planted with an external “hinge”. 
 

there is still tangle but it’s manageable.

I ordered a slate Utility on a whim and now I'm wondering if I'm going to like it at all without a grab handle. I ordered it with a logo on the pocket so I sure hope I can get over that.

Typically, I love having the grab handle, this is the only bag I have not really felt the need.  IDK if its the way the lower handle is positioned (which is in a versatile spot IMO) or the strap ring, but I have been able to use that even.  I mostly put this on my Clicgear or in a cart when I ride, but I have carried it and it feels light for a 5lb bag.  Lots of padding in the straps, too.  I think this is their best bag ever, honestly.

Received the bag!  Very happy with Jones quality as usual...  I like how the logo turned out, very high quality stitching with a deep texture, not just something superficial.  I'm a little confused by the second strap, it seems far too short at the top adjustment so that most of the padding is on my back and it barely has any padding over my shoulder.  I think I can get an extra bit of strap material and another plastic adjuster and extend it to wrap more comfortably over my shoulder.  We'll see if it makes more sense when I can get it out on the course.

Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase a jones players series strap separately? My jones players bag itself is bulletproof but the strap is frail/peeling.

This is the exact bag I have.  Been using it for 4 years and still love it!  Such a good bag!

between the players and 2.5, players is more comfortable to carry, more pockets on the 2.5( i don't find that useful) 2.5 fits better on a pushcart and regular cart. Jones looks better.

you can use it with a push cart, but it doesnt go very well. IMO

As a seasoned Jones carry bag owner. just a heads up concerning the straps.

 

The strap on the Original is bigger, more padded, and in my opinion more comfortable. The strap on the players is fine, but thin, its not uncomfortable but Jones will sell you a strap from the original bag.

 

MY navy players bag has a navy strap from an Original bag and it is night and day different.

This is what I ended up doing with the strap. Got a piece and an extra plastic bit. Extended the top 8 inches or so, with plenty of room for adjustment up or down.  Feels much better. Next I'm going to look for a spot to add a Velcro patch... My personal pet peeve.  I stick my glove to my bag constantly. Added Velcro to my Players series bag up near the strap attachment so I'll likely do something similar.

I have several Jones bags and love them- but what is the point of strap/buckle arrangement at the top ?

 

I put a w tees in there and a few dummy 30-06 rounds but I doubt that is the purpose
