Which Wrxer Do You Seek Out For...

When you're doing research on GolfWrx, who's opinions do you consistently seek out? We all have certain fellow members in mind when we post a topic, thinking "hmm I hope he adds his input - I value his input."

 

So when I'm looking for...

 

Advice on swing flaws - Monte Scheinblum

 

Advice on club specs - Howard Jones, Tom Wishon, Nessism

 

Advice on Nike Equipment - Mula, Flagrant, Shakey, WHC888, Lesmond, Cota0429

 

Feedback on clubs/equipment I'm considering - Roadking, TJChamp, BlackM00nLight

 

Great Stories - ForgedForever

Just Tom Wishon. Then everyone else is enough to give me a general idea of any topic. My rule of thumb is that it has to have more than one page of responses. And I try to filter out people are who are just trying to be a troll.

Seriously though, there are a lot of guys on here who I search out. Richard is a legend. My favorite post of his of all time was in a thread about who would be a better dancer, Dustin Johnson or Will Mackenzie. Well, that's not what the thread was about but that's what Richard made it about. Here's his post after I said : " ok, I'll bite, why would DJ be a better dancer?"

And while all the top doggies have great hips on the course, and this is what I always found amazing cuz some of THE worst dancers I've ever seen are Plus Ams and Pros. How they can slide, rotate and move their hips at 2.4mph(versus the ave am rotates at 1mph) and yet when they step onto a dance floor they look like someone stuck an electric prod up their........

 

Regarding judging, while I wasn't a bad dancer, I by no means have the fundamental foundational bedrock necessary to adequately, objectively and fairly judge others.

 

As a martial artist, you know what I'm talkin about regarding the hips. What I always was also amazed by is that some of my former teammates, and yea, it was usually the white guys, however they'd have great hips on the field, and were smooth as silk moving on the field, yet on a dance floor they were terrible-

 

Truly, one of life's great mysteries :)

This is kind of neat thread. I can't say I really seek anyone out, but there are folks I will pay more attention to than others based on their past work.

 

So far some good names coming out and I agree with most of them, so I will just add a few.

 

I like to follow the rules section and think Sawgrass is the king on there.

 

MtlJeff, isaacbm & MadGolfer did not make the original list, but I enjoy their posts.

 

Jack Peresal (spl?) I think is the best troll.

 

A bit more of an obscure poster is Goobers. As far as I know she is one of the few young women we have on here and she generally brings a new angle to the thread she jumps in on. I always pay attention to her.
