This is an interesting angle for sure. Wonder if he will continue with Bridgestone or if TM will get him into some sort of prototype ball like he's always played in the past.

It's irons and wedges as well but according to the email that I just got, written by the taylormade marketing department, and fake signed by Tiger himself, they will be developing a brand new set of irons over the next few months and they will be showing the progress along the way. At least according to the marketing guy pretending to be Tiger.

 

Stay tuned for more fake Tiger letters.

They are going to sell a TON of the M2 Tour Fairways, IMO it's the best club in the new lineup.

 

Let's hope Tiger can put up some good showing this year, it's good for the game & it will be good to TM.

Oh im sure they will sell a version. Much like the T stamp Titleist 681. Similar but not really close to what tiger actually played.

The article clearly said that he will be building a custom set.

I like the 44.5 inches on the driver and 42.5 on the 3 wood. Has he always played at that length? Also, it looks like he's using slightly lighter shafts on those woods than in the past.

Good product no doubt but all the products out there are good.

 

Taylor Made coming in with the we'll design a custom set of irons for you and then a cheque with enough 0's at the end and that is the perfect storm. Interesting that he is going to be playing a full bag of Taylor Made but playing with the Bridgestone ball. Glad that the Scotty is going to be staying in the bag.

Hmmm. This brings an interesting question to mind. Does this now mean Mr. Taylor is on TM staff. ? If for nothing else but to develop tigers irons ? I hope he is and I hope they had to pay him a lot !
