Phil just hit a guy in the head that was in the gallery. I'm sure he did it on purpose. :taunt:

I am not trying to be right or wrong - just trying to figure out why Phil said, "we are going our separate ways and it's time for a split", and not, "Bones has decided to take a job as a commentator."

.....because maybe he felt it wasn't his place to announce what options Bones had in front of him.

stop making phil out to be something other than a criminal (despite not being found guilty) or an a&&hole (despite all the reasons otherwise)!!! ferguson will not be told otherwise!

Ferg, against seemingly insurmountable opposition you bravely stand, mostly, alone. That's moxie, and I like moxie.

Again, look at the marketing machine doing the flip. Last year Phil paid millions to remove himself from a criminal circumstance. This year, Phil is a statesman for buying a house at The Greenbrier, a wonderful father for going to his daughter's graduation and golf's new hero letting Bones go to do something not so strenuous. Meanwhile, his brother Tim (up to eyeballs in debt after the shirtless and drunken golf cart incident) is now on the bag.

Trying to figure out how Tim is in debt due to the incident?

Not a defendant, no claim against him, is there more to this?

Fergie, I have only one thing to say ...

GO PHIL! :)

Apparently Fergie had a thing for Amy back in the day.

I had heard from a guy who knows a guy that said the guy Phil hit in the head with his ball today might be Bones long lost son and Phil didn't want to see them reunited so he tried to kill the guy and make it look like an golfing accident.

Maybe Phil didn't give him a fist bump at one time.

I thought Tim was Rahm's agent, so figured he's doing okay if he still is.

This should be an interesting take on golf, different than the usual talking heads. Hoping he stays clear of the McCord-Feherty meme of faux witty little tidbits. According to friends with new knees, walking is good, walking with 75 lbs of golf gear, probably not so much. Good luck to Bones.

Ugh, yes. McCord's commentary is insipid and makes coverage unwatchable.

The case has not been settled. Apparently David Harbour, the driver of the golf cart, was being fed drinks by Tim Mickelson.

Apparently ? The female caddie has a real weak case from everything I've read. But I suppose Mickelson should be guilty of having his shirt off. Was Tim holding this dude down and pouring drinks down him?

I didn't like him as a caddy and I suppose I won't like him as an on-course commentator. I want to know what a player would do when a player provides commentary. Not what club he would hand Phil in a given circumstance. Let's get rid of Dottie and Notah, as well well. Oh, and Ian Baker-Finch also. Thanks

How can someone not like Bones as a caddy? Also, Ian Baker Finch, get rid of him? What? One of the best on tv.
