Original callaway S2H2. Wish they'd update that headshape. Played one of my best tournament rounds ever with that as my primary club off the tee. Also, the Bobby Jones Deep Face was spectacular.

 

V-steel is the cult 3-wood.

 

I don't mind the 915FD, but there are many many many great clubs out there now.

Guess I've never understood why the V-Steel is the cult classic like it is? What about this club makes it so special?

S2H2 3W was the first club I couldn't get rid of. It was so good to me. It currently resides in my father's garage. Maybe I'll regrip it and mess around one of these days!

I still love my diablo edge tour. Granted I'm not a super long hitter. But I can play any shot I want with it.

 

Both the Diablo Edge and Octane Tours are wonderful fairways. Love my 15* Edge and 13* Octane. I hit the latter just like Stenson, of course.

When I get around to it, I want to pickup a couple old school 4 Woods and shaft them up with modern day shafts.

 

Definitely want a V-Steel Paintbreak 16.5°, a Sonartec SS-07 16°, and an Exotics CB2 16°.

 

Shaft of intrigue is Atmos Tour Spec. Would love to get my hands on Tour Issue 90g weights.

Low profile makes it easy to hit from the deck. Its made of titanium and you can buy it for like $20.

 

By far, the longest 3 wood I've ever hit, provided you catch it out of the middle. Mis hits still go.

Finding that solid three wood to put into your bag is like finding a unicorn! Trust me when you find it, DO NOT let it go! Some of my favorites for both off the deck and off the tee from older models are the following. My preference is a smaller headed three wood so this takes a lot of them out of contention for me.

 

-Titleist 915F (still gaming this one as I cannot find anything that can knock it out of the bag, but I not really looking either!)

-Bio Cell + (14.5 loft with the Matrix red tie was a beast and the one I regret the most for selling)

-OG X Hot Pro (very solid, long and straight, and easy to hit)

I play the BioCell+ with Matrix Red Tie X. I will never part with it and I bought a back up head on Ebay from Hurricane golf for $40.
