One club I did not see in any bag when I was travelling Europe and the States last year was the Epic. Played with a variety folks from ex pros to everyday Joe and I never saw a single one.

I'm seeing quite a few M4s at our course but even more Rogues. Callaway gets a bump at our course due to the AP being a staffer for them.

And there you have it. Where I play the majority of the people who work with a pro line up with what their contract is. The M3 is the most consistent for me, so far.

I'm in the camp of seeing way more M1/M2s and Rogues than M3/M4. Honestly, I think the gray and black looks so much worse than the white and black.

I have the M4 but I'm likely to go back to the M2, twist face is not working out for me. I'm seeing some really strange shots I didn't experience with the M2, with the same shaft. When I hit the M4 center cut it is great but the toe shot no so much.

I just switched from the epic to an M3 and I love it, whole bunch of M3/M4s at my course.

I am alternating between my 2016 M2 and the new M4; same shafts, settings, lofts etc. I can’t say the newer technology is knocking the “old” 2016 technology out of the bag! The 2016 M2 has got to be one of the best TM products in recent years and is still very popular at my local club.

I haven't seen any M3s or M4s, but I can't think of anyone I play with that has to have the most up to date model. The biggest local golf retailer always has really good prices on the previous generation models (or the one before that) so we're all conditioned to play a generation or two old.

Something about the M4 that just allows me to game it over the Rogue or the ST Mizzy. They all go about the same distance for me and with all the shaft offerings allow to fine tune them all with in hundreds of rpms in terms of spin. I just think the M4 allows me to rip and release with any fear of the lefts...of course its probably more marketing than physical...in the end my body and mind believe in it so I m riding it

For me, the 2016 M2 was just as long if not longer than the M3 but the M3 is more accurate.

Personally, I still get my best numbers with my '16 M1. That's why I didn't change. This cycle did not have anything for me.

 

I see plenty of both M3 and M4. We get a lot of tourists playing rounds this time of year, so it is not just a local thing. I see a lot of Callaway as well. The golf shop in Gulf Shores could be the largest Callaway dealer on the Gulf.

Haven't seen a single M3/M4 driver/fw/hybrid in the wild yet. I remember seeing M2's all over the place when they were new.

My pro swears by his M3 driver (says Twist face is the real deal provided your path is neutral) but other than him I've only seen a handful of M4s so far this year. At least in my area, they're nowhere near the popularity of the M1/M2, especially the 2016s.

I find there is usually a physical or aesthetic component that leads to that. Head shape, face angle, colors/graphics etc, there is always something subtle in there that can instill confidence in some people and mess with others.

Very rarely on the public tracks I play does anyone have a driver bought within the past 3 yrs. heck maybe even 5yrs.

 

Every now and then I see a newer Ping but by far I still see a ton of R11’s and RBZ drivers.

Have seen just a few M3/4's mostly 2016 M1/2's. The sticks where i play game the Rogue/Epic and Ping G400/Max.

Iʻll get the "look" for this one but a friend just bought a 2017 TM M2 D-type (Fuji XLR S shaft) iʻve hit it a few times, launches easy and has a nice sound.

Too expensive and not better than prior models is an equation for low sales. They'll sell quite nicely in the used bins later this year and next.

So many players in my regular groups have an M3/M4 driver right now, the runner up is easily the F8+.

 

But the idea that its not selling well seems very far fetched.

They're selling, but Callaway is destroying them in sales.

Closed face high toe hitter here. When on, my Fusion and Epic hit high/longer towering draws (for me). When off, my Fusion/epic hooked and killed my game. The 2018 M4 ended all that. I have a hard time turning this thing over but that straight ball to fade keeps the ball in play. The occasional heel hit turns out just fine but that opened face toe hit can be bad. Thankfully, I don’t do that very often.

 

For me, Twist Face works as advertised.

Love my M4,was so much more consistent than my Epic. I am seeing a bunch of them in play, way more than the Rogue. Most people are not moving off their Epics

I have a group of 6 close buddies that we always play together with, of the 6 of us 4 play either the M3 or M4 because it outperformed our previous drivers (all ‘16 M2s as fate would have it) and everything else on the market.

Imo anyone who hasn't tried an m3/m4 hasn't read thought the fitting experience thread on here about them. Die to this thread I tried them out and purches an m3 woth tensei pro white.

 

Twist face may not be for everyone but since putting the m3 in my bag every errant shot has ended up closer to the fairway than expected.
