G410 in Jan-Feb. Won't have an LST until summer. Higher MOI, More adjustablitly in hosel and adjustable/sliding weights similar to the others we all know. Will have LST fairway woods which is AWESOME. Love the G/G400 3 wood heads, but at the end of the day you can't expect a high launching/spinning head design to be something it's not (no matter what shaft goes in)...G400 LST has been an unbelievable for me personally

I saw the 410 lineup today.

The Fairway woods look awesome and one report that i got was they are much improved.

The 410 driver looks very GMax lookng to me and that is great. 450cc

Don't expect the Blueprint iron any time soon ......

Ping G430 10.5, Ventus Red 60
TM 16.5 HL Wood,  Fuji Red TR 70
TM 7 wood,  Fuji Red TR 70

Ping G430  Hybrid # 22
PXG Gen 6 XP irons 5-GW with MMT 95 shafts

TM M4 54 & 58 Wedges

I don't think Blueprints are ready for mass distribution. These are going to be a half-year tease...

14 Pings. Blueprints are incredibly good. Fetch is the most underrated putter on the market. Don't @ me.

The G410 will be $499. With the G400 Max at $399 it will be hard to sell the New driver unless it is hands down better than the Max. IMO that is going to be a hard thing to do.

This quote exists at the transition of all the cycles I've ever seen here.

Quick search, and here's the "pick up a K15, since the G20 is out". http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/646912-ping-g20-driver-vs-k15-driver/page__p__6211807__hl__+driver%20+g15%20+g20%20+hard%20+to%20+sell#entry6211807

I am a Ping Guy, but I cant see a better driver than the G400 Max in distance and overall forgiveness.

There was no mention of a G410 iron to me.

Guys, I will tell you that the new Ping Sigma 2 Tyne 4 putter is the real deal.

Excellent news for those interested in the G400, I don't imagine the LST pricing will drop if they aren't going to be releasing a newer model. Going to be testing the LST against the TS3 soon, Ping has been making some great products lately (Well for most of its history).

Just realized tonight that my G400 head is cracked by the hosel.... Is there a possibility Ping will replace it? I am sure the G410 is great but I really love this driver.... Anyone else have this issue with the 400?

The downside though if i understand correctly is that they are finally moving to a new hosel....so if you have a lot of shafts stocked up on for the G30/G years, you are better off getting a G400 than the new driver, as the shafts will all be compatible.

I have a Black Tie 80 that i could use in a G400 head for example

You know it takes literally like 3 minutes to change out a shaft adapter, right?

The shafts are still very compatible, just need new tips on them.

Not a show stopper by any means, and certainly not a reason to not try a new driver.

Interesting they are still going with the sub 460, I’d have thought you would make the LST the 445/450cc driver to appeal to the better player who wants low spin and long hitters. The 410 with the multiple weight positions can be 460cc and it’s a Max and SFT in one.

I think people get too caught up in a few cc. It is very possible that they were able to get much better forgiveness than the current line in a 450cc package with the new weights and managing spin and improving ball speed at the same time. Going to 460cc could have had negative impacts on some of the performance characteristics that would have required more design time to redevelop shapes of the sole and crown to account for more material and different stress distributions. It isn’t simply just scaling the design a small amount.

yes I have. I work in golf retail. You will need to take it to where you purchased or a authorized Ping dealer and they can contact Ping for a replacement. It may take a couple of weeks to get the replacement.

Do you still have the stock shaft? That would be maybe the only hiccup they may have. If you have a dealer that you work with in a regular basis, I'd start there.

If you're just getting it re-tipped, it might just be worth the cash to re-tip it yourself. Probably $30-ish.

This is my issue right here... already texted with my buddy who manages the Roger Dunn near me, he said it's possible they will just replace the head and deal with Ping themselves, but he also believes Ping will stand by it.

Same thing happened to me and Ping replaced it at Edwin Watts no problem. They stand by their products!
