Obviously that's just a piece of the whole picture but this new one looks like it is from a driver. There's a big weight track and a lot of carbon real estate compared to the M5 Ti pic they posted before. Not saying there is no M5 tour fw but this pic doesn't seem like it's of the fw to me.

someone a little while back said something along the lines of the M5 Tour beat out his gamer and he was referring to his driver. I didn't think anything of it at the time. Maybe that is the new name for the 440 replacement?

I have a friend who runs a golf shop and hit the M6. He said distance and forgiveness was good but the sound was awful. He compared it to the old FT composite head Callaway driver's. Said it was a dull "thud". This is someone's opinion, not mine but thought I would share.

Sound indoors is different than outdoors. I’m not too worried about sound when testing inside; it’s all about the numbers.

Probably the result of the speedfoam behind the face much like the softer more muted feel in the irons, P790 and PXG 0311. More like having a "hot melted" head.

At least they will not have that aluminum baseball bat sound!!! :D

Yes, this is definitely me, as I'm sure some of you have seen my postings on the Epic Flash sound in some of the other threads. I finally got to see the new TM product line for the upcoming year. First TM woods lineup I've been blown away by in years. Didn't get to hit, but the drivers both look really good in the flesh. The stars of the show, so to speak (for me at least), are the titanium M5 fairways. They look so good at address, and using the Ti construction in a way that I had hoped they'd do. Didn't enlarge the overall size and shape of the club vs previous year's more Tour oriented heads. Really good look!

I saw no "Tour" version of either drivers or fairways. What I was referring to was the more tour-sized shape of the M5, which is made of titanium. Just a really good looking, smaller and deep faced fairway.
