Do you think Tiger will win another Major?

I don't think he's currently as good as he was and I think his competition is better than when he was at his best. In order to win he has to have four great rounds and I don't know if he has that in him.

This sums up the mentality that TW just destroyed.

I never bought this notion of the competition being much better. And TW just proved that if he was out here in his prime

He would beat the living crap out of these guys.

Very pleased to admit I was 100% dead wrong

I think Tiger could win another major this year. Can he win 3 more, possibly but would be difficult. I wouldn't ever bet against Tiger Woods. He displayed a determined focus today and a lot of patience.

Tiger always has a chance at Augusta National. This year looks good for another win with his experience at Bethpage Black and Pebble Beach. I wouldn't count against it.

96 Jordan came back and dominated for three more seasons. Tiger was very fortunate that DJ and Koepka missed their birdie putts on 18. They probably would have overwhelmed him in a playoff. I'm happy for Tiger, but this wasn't late 90s/early 2000s Tiger who won by multiple strokes at tournaments. He won this major with a very shaky 18 hole to hold on.

Tiger also hits driver on 18 if those guys make birdie. He clearly was playing to just not make a 6.

Would have been far more aggressive on the pitch shot as well. He confirmed in interviews later that the 2nd shot was a mud ball. He was being ultra cautious on the 3rd shot to avoid disaster. But if he really needed par I'm betting he would have given himself a lot closer putt than 15 feet.

Augusta's always on the schedule, and he gets Bethpage and Pebble this year and Torrey next. St. Andrews will certainly show up a couple more times, and Valhalla is coming again as well.

18 Majors is back in play. I don't think it's likely, but it appears to have moved from a pipe dream into the most compelling story in golf and one of the most compelling in sports.

Honestly, that POV is a no brainer for media. You say he's done and, if he was actually done, you say you knew it. If he actually did something like win the Masters, you come out all smiles and say you are so very glad that you were proven wrong.

The next move here for the naysayers is to wait until he starts to struggle, at which point you start calling the Masters win a fluke and go back to saying he's done.

There's just no accountability in sports media because really, it's all opinion at the end of the day.

Yet more abuse from you… as a real and balanced Tiger fan I can admit to being doubtful about Tiger’s ability to win another major, and when proven wrong can openly admit it. Tiger surpassed what I thought he could do, and I couldn’t be happier to be wrong.

I’m not going to stoop and say I told you so to any one poster on this thread.

But man. As a group. Lol. Just read the whole thread. It’s solid gold . Best thread maybe ever.
