Agreed...in my mind could influence launch/spin (avoid or encourage higher/lower ball flight).

Really love that raw/satin look...hope they don't slap shiny chrome plating over it.

I was worried when Voshall said the new stuff isn't what we'd expect from Mizuno... I'm no longer worried...

 

Mizuno -- advice, don't chrome these. Keep them raw or brushed satin or both.

They HAVE to plate these. Golf club buyers dont like seeing rusted clubs on the rack. It's a fact.

Sure, theres like 100 people out there who dont care, and want raw clubs - but a production line product will never be raw IMO.

Plan on some sort of plating.

Satin finish isn't raw.

Thats just an MP18 head that has been ground down - buffed on a wheel, & stamped Proto.

I'm not saying that is has nothing to do with the what might be coming but after looking at my heads thats all this is a pic of.

VJ is a tall guy, playing heavy shafts and over length clubs, all this really does besides looking cool is help remove mass and keep swing weights lower.
