My thought based on the name is something we a very steep EI curve.

Stability, stability, stability. Riptide will have a big focus on improved overall stability while maintaining a similar profile to the original EvenFlow line to keep that smooth EvenFlow feel. Going to be a mid launch/spin profile as we are going to separate the EF line to focus more on feel and launch and will keep the HZRDUS line focused more on lower launching, stiffer profiles.

Love to understand what more stable means exactly

I love my EF blue 6.0 in driver as it is - maybe it gets a touch loose, but that kick is what gives it magic when applied properly

Got the 75g 6.0 Black in my G410 plus. Love it. Any idea on general release for the Riptide?

I have been fitting with both the Riptide and the Riptide CB for a couple of weeks. The Riptide CB has produced some crazy good ball speeds over the typical high ball speed shafts that I usually employ (Paderson Launch, Oban Isawa, Accra FX 2.0, VA Vylyn, Oban Devotion...etc).

 

Even if you don't like the graphics, I recommend you hit both of these Riptide shafts. Well done True Temper.

Same here, I would like to know. If I had to assume it would have to be more of a tip heavy rather than a more even bend profile like the Evenflow T-1100... but that's without much information.

Hit the riptide back on the 14th at a CC in Hartford, fantastic feel, much tighter than the old ef blue. Played similar to the diamana bf I was fit into, just got slightly better launch with the BF.

 

Would def recommend trying it, great feel

I currently have the Evenflow White 65g 6.0 in my TS3, I just got the Evenflow Riptide small batch black version 60g 6.0. I have not had a chance to test it yet.

I did loose one swingweight point, I went from D3.75 to D2.75, I measured out both shafts both 45”, EF White has the MCC grip and EF Riptide has the TV 360, both shafts with grip and tip are 121g. Seems 65v60 shaft weight and 46v50 grip weight. Seems like they balance each other out but more weight in the grip might play some part in the balance but maybe also shaft profile. Swinging it a few times, the white feels heavier in the head by a little(the soft butt could also play a part in that)

I played with the white all last year and never got along well with it. The butt is too soft, with the tip being stiffer also, that was not a good combo for me. I tend to lean more to butt stiff and tip stiff to help square the face better.

I have a fitting in a couple weeks, I will put the new Riptide against some other shafts to see what works best for me this year.
