Man, f fondue. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had was at a "Melting Pot" for someones birthday. $50 a person for some nacho cheese on lil smokies and beef jerky bits. I thought we were being Punk'd.

Wow. I've been there many times, and have always had a great experience. Granted, isn't a great value, but I enjoyed it every time.

 

I usually just do the cheese and don't mess with the boiling-meat thing.

One of my wife's running buddies has a Dutch background. We had dinner at their house in January - she served tompoes.

I would eat that again....and again.

My grandma on my mothers side was the first person in her family born in the US after immigrating from the Netherlands. They have some very suspect food.

I was in Holland for four days back in 1962. A typical breakfast was thin bread, buttered, sprinkled with chocolate, thinly sliced gouda cheese and horse meat. Delicious.

My guess is , like weddings, that the food is sort of irrelevant I've been to swanky weddings at five star hotels and backyard bbqs, and I don't remember the food at any of them.

It's the company, conversation and stories that make the events memorable...and when you're young and single, if you get lucky!

considering the age of some of the past Champions, someone should seriously consider serving some Ensure, I am guessing half the room is lactose intolerant

 

If one of the South Korean players win I guess they will serve kimchi and Korean BBQ or individual bimibap served in hot stone pots

No but they sound good. having lived in China I would love for Hao Tong Li to win. Being that he is from Hunan there are some great spicy dishes out of that region.

Braised red pork. absolutely delish. A Chairman fav.

Chashan sinky bean curd. Smells like dog poo but tastes great. haha.

I love Bison. A friend of mine out west sends me steaks and burgers he processes. Much better than what you get in stores.

Ostrich is very mild; like chicken.
