What's everyone's favorite non Vokey wedges right now?

MD5 sand and lob are my current favorites. We’ll see if it stays that way once the season gets rolling.

I have a set of raw MD4s that I've been in love with for the past year, but now I'm in trouble because I wasn't smart enough to get a second set of heads and I'm now totally lost on what to get.

TM MG's have been pretty good to me

MG2 is what I'm looking at. Have Hi Toe and they're good around the greens but I find them inconsistent on full shots.

Cleveland RTX-3 Tour Raw soaked in vinegar, patina is great! Will update once they make a hi-toe/ full face rtx--- tour raw.

... I was torn between picking up a SM8 58.8 or a MG2 58.8 but after going to Dicks, PGA SS and GG with no MG2 Low Bounce wedges in stock, I picked up the SM8. Really wanted to try the MG2, but since I play a SM7 58.12 in Chicago's soft conditions the 58.8 should work well in Phoenix with hard and fast conditions. Strange that none of the golf stores carried any Low Bounce MG2's.

I'd imagine for the average golfer low bounce wedges wouldn't sell as well.

I loved the MD3's for a couple seasons, but have been playing the Y grind lately.

... I understand no low bounce wedges in the lower lofts but a golf store like GG or the SS should stock at least a couple low bounce LW's in 58* and 60*. Plenty of Vokey low bounce wedges, just none from Taylor Made.

I just played a round with them. A 52 and 58. I used 58 more because never had a loft that high before. These wedges definitely fly lower and go a touch further then the md4s. They seemed to be spinng quite a bit. The ground was very soft though. Stuck a 35 yrs shot real close to the pin with the 58 just sat after one bounce was nice.

Were the Ping Glide 2.0 Stealth but the Cleveland CBX2 54/58 kicked them out this year. Only thing I miss is the Stealth Black finish.

I like my Raw MD4's too. there's something about a raw wedge. I might get some MD5's if they release a raw head.

After putting heavier shafts in my Glide 3.0, I am quite fond of them. If they start acting up though, I want to try the MD5 Jaws.

Near the end of last season I came across a set of brand new 52*, 56*, 58* and 60* standard sole raw Nike Engage wedges. Played them with the stock shafts until the end of the season, then vinegar soaked them, stripped out all the paintfill, and shafted them up with S400s. Excited to get them out ASAP.

I've only ever played Vokey wedges in the past 15 years but could easily game the TM MG 2 with black finish if they didn't come out with dumb rusting faces only. That wedge will look like trash after about a month. The Callaway wedges look good.

I went from from the SM7 to MD4 (Black), and recently now have the CBX2. Easiest wedges I have hit. They feel great and play amazing.

Very pleased with my MD5 and CBX2 wedges. MD4 also very good. I’ve never been a huge fan of Vokeys, think there are better wedges available.
