I was actually lucky and got my i210 set shipped to my Ontario Golftown but got called to work out west funny enough.

I had been waiting awhile for some wedges I had GT send to Ping for lie adjustment. I had hoped to have them for a Dallas Stars Father/Son trip, I got invited to. As I was waiting for the clubs to arrive , news of the trip cancelation came thru. So no clubs or trip, but I was kinda relieved the trip was cancelled, as we all worried for everyone's safety.

Ping did come thru though, got a call to pick them up thru the side door the last day Gt was open. Hopefully we all stay safe during these troubling times.

I ordered my Pings thru Club Champion late Feb and got them early March. My golf buddy and coworker kinda got the bug after me going thru the whole thing.

Last week he finally went in and got fitted. Got fitted for Cobras, but it looks like he's going to be waiting a while to get them.

My brother worked at Kearney the last two years of his undergrad, '06 - '08, I believe.

I personally loved the IU bunker. We're from Indiana but my brother converted to a UK fan when he went to school there. It really is a nice track.

I ordered a G410 Crossover 3 iron on March.18th. Good thing my club doesn't open until May.1st anyway because of the weather.

I sent in a G400 head to have the tungsten weight that popped out replaced. I guess it won't be coming back for awhile.

Looks like my fitter got some good news Monday morning.Not sure how it happened....but thank everyone at Ping that got these beautiful sticks out before close on Friday!!!!! These showed up today. Now I just need the sun to come out and dry the course up a little.

Interestingly enough - I ordered a set of G710s for a buddy through Discount Dan's and got the notice that they shipped out yesterday afternoon. Origination says Gearhart, OR - so apparently they aren't just drop shipped from Ping.

I'm in the exact same boat. They said they are just collecting everything that comes in for repair and they will start working through the backlog once they reopen (potentially on April 6th). Not a big deal for me as all courses and ranges are closed in WI until at least April 24th.

That is not what they said. They aren't receiving anything. If you send it, it will get returned - undelivered.

Congrats on getting them this quick. I played 18 holes with my buddy yesterday, and he commented how well I hit them. This is probably the longest I have kept a set of irons in my bag, but I really like the ball flight and consistency.

Was told today my order is on hold as they are shutdown until April 6th.Fortunately my order is only for a G710 gap wedge to complete my set, so no big deal.

Okay, well I got an email about the item I mailed before they closed, and they told me they were accepting deliveries and would process the repair when they reopened. Just reporting what I was told by Ping. Good to know that the policy may not be consistently applied...

 

"Thank you for your email as well as your understanding with PING's decision to close headquarters for 2 weeks. I looked up your RCC number and it does not appear that we have received the club at PING yet. We did close down on Friday 3/19 so if the club was delivered to the factory anytime after that date we are having all of our packages held until we reopen on April 6th. At that time, we will process the repair and have your club fixed in 1-3 business days and shipped back to you."

Ping could have tons of stuff enroute to the mothership from vendors/suppliers over and above Joe Golfer, so it makes sense UPS/Fedex/USPS can hold it for them until they open back up.

It might be a difference in verbiage. They might have someone there just pulling stuff off a truck and throwing it in a pile until they come back. Certainly won't be processed until re-opening. There won't be many, I guess, if there is no one there to issue a RA number and therefore you can't send it back without one.

So I'm not sure if this is news or not, but Ping is now closed until at least April 30. Just an FYI for those of us waiting for orders or repairs. Stay safe everyone!
