Anyone still playing the G410 LST?

Two or 3 weeks ago it was the most played driver in the pga tour event. It seems like more pro's are using it this year than last year which is highly unusual and speaks to how good the head really is.

not even close - and i've had several of the more recent drivers. m2 g400, maverick, ...the 410 lst is not leaving the bag for some time. maybe its the shaft combo, but its long and straight.

I have been keeping my eye out for a 410 LST in all the usual used golf sites. I am back to my G400 Max (didn't get along with the 400 LST) after a brief love affair with the SIM.

Is the MAX high spin? Yes.

Is it the most confident I have been playing a driver? Yes

I have hit a friends 410 LST and it is much the same confidence inspiring at address, and looking up after hitting a ball and seeing it split the fairway time and time again is also a boost.

If you love your LST I will say you should never sell it.

Anyone have that shaft in their G410?

Another vote for G400 LST. Mine has 75g Evenflow Blue & isn't going anywhere.

Some combo of any or all:

Ping G400 LST 10* w/ Px Evenflow Blue 75 6.0
Rogue SZ 15* w/ Px Evenflow Blue 75 6.0
Cally 416 19* Hybrid w/ Diamana S+ 82g Stiff

G400LST for me, have never tried a 410, I don't hit long but this driver finds a ton of fairways and I'd rather be hitting my 2nd shot from the short grass with a hybrid than chipping or punching out from behind a tree then still having a mid iron to the green at best. And I totally fitted myself into this driver with what is completely the wrong shaft and settings for my swing, but it stays in the fairway, that's a win in my book.

Finally got my hands on a 410 LST for a decent price with a I had known should work for me.   The club I play at is short, with a bunch of doglegs or extreme narrowing in the areas where I would normally hit a hybrid or maybe a three wood off of the tee.

Now I pull driver confidently.  The 410 LST looks like the 400 Max but better in every way.  Less of a foot print, sets up more square, the ball flight is lower and with less spin.  I have not hit a "bad" drive with it yet.  Have I made some less than stellar swings?  Absolutely, but the combo I am swinging has taken the big left miss and occasional big right miss out of play.  Now I can just hit bombs, over and over.

Upgraded this season from 400LST to 410LST.  paired with Ventus Blue Velocire 6X it’s the best driver I’ve ever played. I hit the new SIM further but 295 down the middle is way better than 320 in the woods. Am I right ?!?!

Anyone still rocking the G410 LST? Anyone compare against any of the newer drivers this year/last year? I was fit for this driver 2 years ago but I gotta admit some of the new releases are tempting me away. Someone talk me off the ledge!

I played it confidently in 2020. Then I was changing the back weight from heel to center and the screw snapped in half and I couldn’t get it out. While Ping was sending me a new head, I played a g400 Max that I had laying around and hit it so pure. I tried the 410lst for gits and shiggles but was hitting these weak wipey pushes that weren’t going very far.

I’m not rocking it, but I would if my 425 lst breaks and I found a good price on a 410lst.

results for me are so close I can’t tell them apart other than acoustics.  Only went with 425lst because it was newer and there wasn’t a big of price difference to go with the 410.

Loving my 410 LST still. Got fit for it and I dont see myself moving away any time soon. I have the Evenflow Black 75G in a 6.5 flex. I have a Jumbo Max grip on it to act as a counterbalance since the head is heavy. Certainly helped.

Dang, I'm considering doing this exact same thing.... Slightly concerned launch/spin will creep up a little high (I play my 410 at 8 degrees) but I think 425 Max at 8 or 7.5 should be alright. At least worth an experiment, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can’t tell you what my spin numbers were between the two heads, but my on course results have been great. The dispersion on the 425 has been tremendous. I don’t hit any balloon balls or two way misses with it.
Good luck.

Same here. Although I’ll play the G410 LST from time to time. It feels and sounds much better. The 425 forgiveness is crazy although last time I took the G410 LST out for a spin, hit 77% fairways on a very tight course.

Yeah- but imagine how many fairways you would have hit with the 425! 😜

Hit the simulator tonight for a round of golf to ease my urge. I think my G410 still has some life in her 😉

Sold mine and moved back into the Sim, but the shaft was broken in transit  and I needed something quick to play a tournament that weekend. Didn’t have time to demo anything, so I went and picked one up, I knew it would work. They didn’t have any LSTs left in stock and I settled for a Max. That was 2 years ago And it’s still in the bag. This years drivers are all about increased MoI, so I’ll be testing.
