These look even better than I thought they would. That price tag though ouch! I am assuming markup for JDM market but that means probably close to 3k for the US if they bring them here.

So assuming at that price they are fully milled like the originals?  Better be.  But that still makes the pxg Milled set seem cheap.

Looks to me like a replacement to the current king MB, think it might be different to the CNC ones

Maybe they nixed the Rev33s since RF abandoned them and decided to go with these instead?

could well be, clearly they produced sets of the rev33, but am sure they would be looking to update the King Tour for mainstream as well, certainly hope that is the case, love the colour

Agreed!  If they price these accordingly to similar sets currently on the market, I would probably buy a set.

That sounds more likely than 4500. JDM pricing on products never convert to the exact dollar. Is there any info on where these are made?

If Cobra prices these any higher than the P7TWs it will a huge mistake imho.  Cobra is considered more of a “value brand” and think people will look elsewhere.  This statement applies to the average Joe and not Wrxers.

No a friend of mine on staff with Cobra posted it. Hope they release these.

I have to imagine with how hard they worked to get these right for him they'll make their way back into the bag eventually, once he gets the shafts sorted out that he had been testing in the older heads, probably just wasn't a great time between the couple majors to be switching back and forth. Maybe cobra did too good tho and even Rickie ended up scared of how little these things are 😂

I just hope they release these as their new MBs and lower the initially reported price point.

Maybe they’re doing 2 sets like Mizuno did with the MP-20 coppers. 

 

The rev33 being a limited fully milled special box set, then the above simply being the production model replacement for the king forged MBs. 

 

Or maybe only asian markets are getting the off-loaded rev33s.

That's what I'm thinking. 

Limited release Rev33 version being 100% milled...which explains the price tag (look at Seven Golf's fully milled MB/CB also ~$4500USD & PXG's fully milled blades/wedges). Fully machining these out of a block of carbon steel would take quite a bit of time (read: money).

 

Then the Forged MB version nick posted will be the big retail release. Don't see any milling lines on this version, so price likely in line with their usual MB. I wonder if there's a corresponding CB in the plans too (to fit between the MB and MiM Forged Tour)?

I just hope anything they release will have zero offset like the club rickie designed.  The transition from the hosel to the club face was so smooth on his version.  Sometimes they add offset for the consumer but that just ruins it

lets be realistic, if they want to sell them in decent numbers zero offset would not be the answer, might look good but actually benefits very few, not many guys on tour with zero offset these days. Offset on the current MB/CB set is fine

 Adding 2 millimeters of offset to the smallest blade on the market isn’t going to help anybody hit it better.  The whole point of this club is zero offset like rickie plays.  If you like the offset on the current set buy those
