I grew up in RI. Almost all my life spent in the area too. But, no one can actually guess where I'm from because I had to work to lose the "axent". It's a fun game to play with people I meet on the road with the "so where ya from?" game.  

It can be done, but requires work. And as Always Rough said, this is like being a 1st timer at the Superbowl, World Cup, World Series. No time to hone skills. Being put in with the wolves to force something to happen. Bad idea. 

Get your chops in order with practice and other tourneys. Work your way up. Get feedback and hone your skills and find your voice.

Agreed, I hope she figures it out. Need a younger more enthusiastic voice. Kristina Kim was decent and fun, but she just does not shut up..

take joe buck.  I can’t stand to hear his voice.  And I’ll say so everytime he’s mentioned.  Lol. But I love to listen to Judy  rankin ( spelling ?) ... Michelles voice is pleasant.  That’s half the battle. She’s knowledgeable too.  The thing that will take some getting used to and or polishing on her end is the valley girl bubbly shtick.  It works for sports casting , sometimes.  And then it just doesn’t fit in others.  My 2 cents.
