? Phil has always been long.

 

In 2019 he was 19th on Tour at 306.3 yards. Adam Scott was at 299.3 yards (55th on Tour) that year.

 

Not uncommon at all for Phil to hit it the same distance as Adam. They are about the same length off the tee, for years.

I think yesterday may had been a "make sure" round. He may use today and tomorrow morning as moving day. Since he's playing in both conditions.

Problem isn't ppl being unfair, its that if you listened to Wie give an interview over the past decade, you'd realize this was DOA. 

 

For example, if you were going to make instruction videos with Lee Westwood and Mickelson. Both are great golfers, do you think its a good idea to have "Mickelson's Driving Secrets" or "Westwoods Shortgame Shots". Maybe reverse that.

Right.  That’s pretty much what I’m saying.  I just hate the knee jerk defense that starts “ you men hate her because ...”.    I just do not see anyone acting that way. If I did I’d call them out.  
 

for what it’s worth. I like Faldo , lol.  A lot.  Miller as well.  And bones.  Duval is great and nabilo is usually.  Judy is great.  Dottie grates on my nerves - SOMETIMES- but overall she’s does a better job than 99% of walking reporters. 
 

but I also enjoyed McCord.  So that invalidates my opinion off the bat.  😂
 

edit  to add - an old school guy I can’t stand to listen to is lanny Wadkins.  I don’t know why. But his personality rubs me backward.

Not really. They all have a voice for announcing. It's the pitch, tone, etc... Sure, we're beyond the quiet hushed tones of yesteryear, but I don't think the majority of the watching public aurally appreciate the lack of the "dulcet tones" of MW.
