Black Friday Deals?

RockBottomGolf BF deals are a joke! I bough a Evenflow Blue from their site last week Paid $55. This week they mark it up to $69.99 and then you get a coupon code that brings it down to... wait for it... $55. They do this every year. What a joke!!!

The best deals were (I say were because they are now all gone) CGPO 50% off on shafts. I picked up 3, all in like new condition, all 45.5" (which means they will pay to 46" in a TaylorMade or Titleist)

 

1 x Tour AD Di 7X - $128

2 x Tour AD GP 7X - $130

 

If I could have remembered earlier, I could have got them in S-Flex, but they were all gone.

 

You can still get some on the site, but those left are around $200. Still a good price.

Jumped on CPO at like 1:30 in the morning so I can get my FIL his full set of Mavriks.  He moved into a retirement community and all of his neighbors wanted him to start playing golf.  He went to Golf Galaxy and was about to pull the trigger on a full bag a few weeks ago.  I tasked myself with the job knowing CPO generally has good deals and was able to save him roughly $1,200 including a grip upgrade on 13 clubs.

Anyone know if Dicks or Golf Galaxy will be running any coupons?  
 

In years past for Black Friday, DSG and GG had 20% and 25% off coupons and in store, there were no restrictions.

 

All I have seen is $20 off $100 for DSG and nothing from GG.

Golf Galaxy will accept the dollar off coupon from Dicks. Typical restrictions, anything new basically and then the normal price protected brands. GG sent out a mailer, got mine last week. Same thing as the Dicks one, $20 off $100 and a bonus points coupon. As far as GG, they didn’t have to do anything crazy for Black Friday this year. They’re having one of their best years of all time and had trouble keeping stuff in stock up until the last month or so.

Asher Golf is running but two get one on their single gloves. Starting Friday at 9 am est. I was a Pure Touch Limited guy until I tried the Ashers. Hopefully they’ve got a decent stock built up. 

They’re a touch thicker, way more durable and just as soft as the FootJoy.

CGPO is a great place to pick up Japan only putters too. I picked up a center shafted EXO Stroke Lab that was only sold in Japan. On eBay they are $400. I got it for $167... brand new. All sold out now BTW. But I have see other Japan only putters on the site many times... for less than half of what you can buy them on eBay

True spec golf BOGO fittings. I emailed them and you can buy the deal and use one fitting for yourself and one for your friend. So you and a friend can join up and split the cost of the full fitting ($350) and each get a certificate for a full fitting.

I play an executive course every morning. No need to a long ball. Besides, I can give them away to the ladies when they forgot to bring golf balls to the golf course (it happens all the time)

I honestly wouldn’t worry about it being a women’s/men’s ball.  Golf ball doesn’t know or care if it’s being smashed by someone packing “frank and beans” or not 🙂  It’s more a matter of preference (soft vs traditional)
