Srixon Irons wait time.

Pre-Covid, during Covid, and post-Covid (if we ever get there) FedEx Ground was, is, and will be the absolute WORST.

 

My ZX5s shipped 2/18, scheduled delivery today. The only update is that the box left the origin facility in Anaheim on 2/18. No updates since. Obviously they wont be delivered today, but I'm seriously wondering if these things are still in California, a week later.

I find with FedEx calling their help line gives most accurate info and it tends to speed up process as well.

Mine arrived 3 days after the initial estimated delivery date. I didn't see any updates for about a week after Anaheim and they were at the my local Fed Ex facility and then out for deliver same day. Tracking is worthless these days for both Fed Ex and USPS.

In my recent experience, FedEx has been better than UPS. And way better than USPS. An eBay  purchase shipped via USPS, took over a month for a domestic parcel. Awful!

Over time, and recently as well, FedEx has been the worst here in my area. However, I will say that up until 4 or 5 years ago they were better than UPS.

Just saw and swung the ZX5 and ZX7 irons for the first time today...beautiful clubs for sure!

 

The ZX5 looks significantly bigger from all angles than the ZX7. Curious to know, for blended sets, what are most of you ordering?

 

ZX5 4-6 and ZX7 7-PW? What shafts are you guys ordering?

snuck in a zX UT 4i for bombs....

 

c- taper lite x for me. Graphite design ADDI for UT

 

I weakened the zx5 1* and strengthened the UT 1*.

Has anyone talked with Srixon lately about when they are expecting MMT 105 shafts in?  I'll be starting week 6 of waiting soon.

Due to be delivered on Friday. I’ve hit every club in the order(with the stock shafts) at a local PGA Superstore, so I know what I’m getting. Gonna chuck some custom ferrules and grips on them when they come in.

I was told around the first week of March. I have ZX5 on order with MMT 105s hard stepped 1x.

FedEx is funny these days.  I'l get a delivery notification (as in they have delivered my package) and I go to the front door and nothing is there.  SOmtimes it shows up in a few hours and sometimes its a few days.  In fairness, its not always that way but it's more than any other time.

 

Same with USPS.  I have gone 4 days without mail this week.  It's like the mail is so backed up..

Good idea to put your own grips on. Not one of my irons has the grip on straight, square. Lol. The "gripper" must prefer shutting the face. I'm happy to have the clubs. But man oh man..

Mine were originally stating as delivering Sunday, Feb 21.  Due to snow-pocalypse they have been pending since Friday, Feb 19.  I called FedEx and they didn’t give me much more than “they’re delayed.”

 

I’m hoping they show up eventually.  I’ll be reaching back out to FedEx this afternoon.

I received my set (ZX5 5-6, ZX7 7-P) without the pitching wedge on Tuesday. They said it was backordered, but not sure if it was the head or the shaft (Recoil 95 F4). Order was placed on 1/18.

I know all clubs shipped in my order due to arrive tomorrow. So, I’m guessing it may be the shaft. But, who knows. 
 

If you call they can check stock of components for ya.

I ordered my 2/1 and my fitter said they ship next week so you should be getting notice anytime I would think.

not so good for me. my set was ordered 1/16.  Srixon said my zx5 4,5,6,7 iron heads are b/o til mid April.🤬

Weird I ordered zx5 4-6. Granted my set may arrive and not have all the clubs I have no clue. We’ll find out.

Seems odd considering guys are getting their irons that ordered after you.

 

Is your build over standard length? Does Srixon do B series heads?
