Morikawa is amazing. Well, they all are. BUT RSG is playing unlike the typical BO weather conditions. i played Carnoustie a week after Jean Van de Velde blew 18. The grass was even longer and it was really windy. I made a bogey on 18 and consider it my best memory in golf. Several of the other holes into the wind were ... brutal. If Morikawa wins this, I will be interested in seeing if he has to defend the Claret Jug at St Andrews, particularly if the wind blows.

Absolutely. A major is a major spectators or not. Questioning his nerves is silly IMO.

Agree...it was always a bad take. I doubt that pros even know there are spectators when they are in the zone...but it will be nice for whoever walks up 18 with the lead.

Wasn't questioning his nerves, I was confirming what I suspected, the PGA wasn't luck or one off performance. He's got it.

It's been a problem all week with the coverage. They seem to like wide-angle aerial camera shots from a great distance which makes it hard to see a ball.

I think Spieth takes this.  CM is playing fine.  Just seems Spieth is even more aggressive attacking every single hole to birdie it.

All it takes is one CM shot to find a pot bunker to make this real interesting.

 

Meanwhile the heat seems to have caused Jon Rahm to catch on fire.

 

It seems that McKay and Begay are being kept some distance away from the hole they are describing and their descriptions of the outcome of shots are vague at best.
