A good source told me G425 woods price drops 9/1.  I would expect the G430 to be released shortly.

Is it normal to be this close to a supposed release and not at least have Pro's have the new club in their bag? I saw 9/1 on here a couple times in the thread and being less than a month out, shouldn't we have seen it on tour?

I think someone at the USGA f***** up and posted the fairway wood photos long before they were meant to. They have been taken down the day after we noticed they were on their site.

 

I doubt we will see the G430 start tour seeding until the fall and then a retail release a few months after.

Yeah because we should of never seen those photos this early in the first place... We won't see any info on the G430 line until late September/October at the earliest is my guess.

This is taking way too much self-discipline. My inner ho is itching (doesn’t sound good!) for a driver and 3 wood fitting but with Ping and Titleist releases around the corner I must resist…

Just based on the FW's , it'll be MAX, LST and SFT again. I'm hoping for a 9* SFT that you can turn open...kind of a Rogue Max D on drugs 😄

Was in my local shop today. They had the g425 driver marked to $399.  Fairways and hybrids were also marked down but don’t quote me on these.  I think the fairways  we’re $249 and hybrids $219.

Check the WITB on the KFT Tour ( future PGA players ) no matter what the bag says brand-wise 70% are  playing a Ping 425 LST 9° model.

Today I saw and ordered G430 LST 10.5.  I saw the Max 3 wood but not the Ti, the G430 irons and new Anser.   I ordered the Ti LST sight unseen.  I also didn't get a chance to hit the woods because I'm a lefty.  I didn't inquire about release date.  If it's anything like the i525 then I'm guessing release is about 2-3 months away.

 

I don't want to get anyone "in trouble" so I won't divulge any specifics (sorry) except to say the clubs looked great.  From what was discussed, the the drivers should make many people happy.  And I am amazed what engineers come up with when it comes to problem solving and the G430 irons.  I've never played a G series iron and this won't change that (too much bounce and offset) but I think what they did was pretty neat.
