I find it a little curious that we don’t hear a number. In the past they have specifically said X number of putters are being released. like the JT putter or the my girl putters. 
 

These are just “limited”. What does that even mean?

The head weights may have already been discussed, but here is the weight for my 34" Newport with the stock 35 gram weights installed. Came in a little lighter than I was expecting. I didn't take the weights out and weigh them yet, but Scotty OEM weights have always been a bit lighter than the stated number in my experience.

Looks like its around 280ish

I think the special select was 283 or something like that?

I feel ya man.  It was my post, I think I was the first (of many) to post one for sale on BST.  Honestly it was the first scotty I've bought specifically to flip just because the opportunity presented itself.  If they had a long neck version I would have kept it.  Regarding pricing, I basically posted what I had it for sell on ebay for with the intentions of saving the buyer the extra 9.5% saved from ebay fees plus a little extra in negotiations.  (So I would have sold it on BST for $1000-1040 basically.)   I didn't receive a single message about it though so that never came to fruition.  Wound up selling it on ebay for $1200 that day instead.  

 

Just made me wonder if the next 35 posts for this putter (mostly ranging from $950-1250) got any interest from members.  

 

I can see your opinion on the matter though and respect that.

Brasso worked great on my T-22. Just be careful not to get it in the polymer running along the edge of the insert, because it will eat through it.

Copper is my favorite face....anyone who has a T22 and the CC that can tell me how they compare?  I like that with a firmer ball like prov1x or left dash this still feels great off the face.  The weights are interesting, they milled out a bigger port and put much heavier weights in this version.  Pulling cg lower and to the heel/toe more than previous scotty's with 10g weights in a 35"....

Oh and the headcover is not too impressive.  Its Velcrow and just does not have a high quality look and feel to it...

I am going to throw in a la golf one35 shaft in it and see how that does against some other putters to see if this makes the bag...

Or ketchup works (used it on my t22). Just smear some on and rub it off after a few mins.

It’s notably softer than my T-22 Newport was. But not too soft. It’s the perfect blend of feel/sound to me. I feel sorry for anyone who flipped it without ever rolling it. I’m not one to toot the Scotty horn, never been a huge Scotty fan or anything. But this thing feels amazing.

Weights are actually right on the money. So this means the head without weights is 285.

Curious if anyone else received a putter with smooth milled face? I bought a Newport, Newport 2, and a Flowback 5.5. The milling on the Flowback is very smooth and almost polished looking. Surprisingly it feels the softest of the 3 but that could just be the mallet in general. Hard to tell in the pictures. Thoughts?

Not quite sure what you mean by smooth face, cause you can see the obvious mill marks across the entire face of your putter.  That being said, I think someone in this thread posted about their flowback feeling much softer.

Yes you can see the milling marks however they are flush and can’t be felt by rubbing your finger on the face like a normal Cameron would. It is also different than my CC Newport or Newport 2

think the other guy also noted that as well on his flow back. 
interesting as I’d think deeper groves and not smoother ones would be softer.

Mine is the same way, I posted about it a couple pages back. The milling on my newport cc is easily felt but the flowback is almost completely smooth. I can barely feel the milling with a fingernail. It's def more firm than my newport but still feels good

Man these have such great feel.  I wish they had more options/heads....i gotten used to other looks.  thinking of moving my newport 35 if anyone wants a jump on it...

If anybody got a Newport 2 but wants a Newport, shoot me a PM. I’ve just always preferred the sharper lines of the Newport 2 over the Newport. Would love to trade for a Newport 2. Wish Dick's wouldn’t have botched my Newport 2 order.

any suggestions on a shaft that fits cameron over the hosel? I bought a .370 putter shaft and tip trimmed inch by inch trying to get to .390, but after 4" i ran out of room for finished length. Trying to resgaft the flowback 5.5.

Some big box golf stores (GG, DSG, TGW, etc) might still have a couple coming in from titliest. They put up a few on their websites last week, not sure if they really had all they are claiming but it might be worth your time to keep checking their websites for the next week or two.

My pro told me that the one he ordered for me is showing up on the account for delivery on Sept 10.   So they are still getting shipped.  The only question is how they have been allocated by the shops that are getting them.

Yeah I had a golf retailer contact me about a lefty one they had I was on a waiting list.  Owner said he wanted $1500 for it haha
