PXG delivery times and customer service excellent experience

They are in a good position for whatever reason. In my experience it would seem unlikely any one company has a mastery of the supply chain that no one else has figured out--But be that as it may, they are in an advantageous stocking position and this is great for them.

I also just bought PXG's and they shipped 16 days later. Pretty good stuff.

Their CS also seems very good as you say. Very polite and helpful.

My gen3 P irons order was submitted late afternoon last Wednesday and they’re shipping out today.  That’s with upgraded shafts and custom specs.

My Father-in-law took advantage of the Black Friday pricing on a set of 0211DC irons. He is 2 years into retirement from a global sales company and he had nothing but great things to say about the customer service. They allowed him to ask questions and come back later in the day with more questions. The sales rep told him to ask for him no matter who he got on the phone as he would walk him through the process. He placed the order on Black Friday and had them in hand 7 to 8 business days from then and that was ground from AZ to NC.

I was a Ping guy for 30 years and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. I respect the Ping Company immensely and they make a great product.

With that said, I attended a demo day several months ago and was blown away by the PXG Gen 4 P irons with the MMT shafts. so stable and so easy to hit with great feel.

Now I have 12 PXG clubs in the bag and couldn't be happier. The PXG hybrid is spectacular for me.

On to the story, My neighbor has a set of Srixon irons on order for the past 45 days and was frustrated and he cancelled them.  We played two weeks ago and he liked my irons so much he contacted PXG to set up a custom fitting.

The $50.00 and one hour on range custom fitting was done on 12/7 and he got the irons and fairway woods today 12/14.... One week later.

PXG seems to be one of those companies that people either love or loathe, but in my experience they do what they say they will do and more importantly I checked all of my clubs and they were exact on the lengths and lies.

Seems the people that hate them have never hit their clubs. They just don’t like the commercials or Bob (for political reasons).

Gen 3's are reduced to $133.00 per club right now with MMT shafts which are 60.00 a shaft at Golfworks.

Or you can do the 7 or 11 club deal.

I recently bought a Gen 2 0811 XF head back from a friend of mine.  It was in like new condition and after only two rounds while cleaning it, I noticed bubbles forming where the composite meets the metal on the crown... bummer.. big time.  I loved that head.  Long story short, I called PXG and explained my situation, sent them pics, and they had an 0211 head out to me in less than a week.

I will say, I do not like the 0211 as much, it's good, but not the XF.  Doesn't matter though, I was a big fan of the way they handled it and will continue to try and give them my money.

Ordered from PXG UK on friday - excellent chat with Mike in sales, but they wont be here for 6 weeks, I'm guessing that the clubs are being built in the US and shipped out. There is snow on the ground so I'm not overly bothered about the delay. It will be my first ever set of custom fit clubs - and not the brand I was planning to buy, but the price is very good and the clubs perform pretty well 😉

I understand PXG clubs in UK are assembled/built by Diamond Golf in West Sussex.

I think PXG are in a good place as a company. They are small enough to be agile, but are now big enough to have a chunk of market and tour pros. They are also not cash strapped or investor tied, so they have flexibility.

Nike almost had that in golf, but golf wasn't a big enough slice.

The fitting fee stinks and the shipping fees really stink, BUT if you have a PXG store nearby I highly recommend the experience as they can get around the shipping cost (and expedite orders) and, from what I hear, the fitting fee too sometimes.

Glove: ML
Tees: 2 3/4
Towel: white
Repair tool: metal
Ball Marker: largest poker chip in the world
Iron headcovers: wait, what?

The feedback system is annoying

If you’re paying shipping on anything other than 0211 then you’re doing it wrong.

I had my fitting on Dec 4th for the Gen 3 P, MMT shafts and 2 degrees flat,  and they will be delivered today before 2pm! And I am in Miami.

How is everyone liking the MMT shaft? Any problems adjusting to the extra light shaft. Seems crazy light having played steel all my life. I am now down to modus 105’s and they seem light !

You can save on shipping for sure if you have a nearby PXG store as you can have your clubs shipped there. I have now bought a driver and 0211DC irons separately from them and in regard to the shipping fee it seems like a lot, but I have never seen clubs packed and shipped from other OEMs like PXG does. The driver I ordered not only came in their distinctive shipping box, but also came shrink wrapped. The padding inside the box on the driver and the irons I bought from them was incredible. I am sure part of that shipping fee goes toward the packaging and I feel it is well worth it.

I had a set of irons shipped to the local PXG store and, when I got there, they had already opened the box and checked to make sure that what was in the box was exactly what I had ordered. I thought that was a nice touch!

The staff at the Dallas shop is great.  The PXG return procedure however, leaves a lot to be desired.  I bought the 2011 DC irons off the rack when they dropped to $75.  It’s my fault I didn’t get a fitting but the shafts weren’t a fit for me.  I did a spec check and found the right shaft.  I thought I’d be able to return them and pay the 15% restock fee then use the remaining proceeds towards the new set with proper shafts.  Turns out I have to wait for a return label then return them to the corporate hq then wait two weeks for my refund.  I had to order the new set with a separate charge.  Sure would’ve been easier to do it all in one transaction and not been out an entire new charge for a second full set while waiting for the refund.

Again my fault for not getting fit initially but certainly not a consumer friendly process if you have to return / replace.

I love the MMT shafts.  At 67, I’ve had plenty of time to adjust to lighter shafts. 😄
