That Kushin 4 looks really good. I agree that the 2021 version is just too big for my taste, but that smaller PLD looks really nice. Would love to see a comparison with the 2021.

I had my virtual session a little while ago and the fitter offered the Anser 4 as an option without me even asking.

That is great news for us who like a flow neck!!! What was your overall impression of the fitting and what were your thoughts on the options they offered?

I enjoyed the fitting.  The data confirmed the two previous putter fittings I've had, and I learned a few things about my putting stroke.  The recommended specs aren't too far off from what I have now (recommended slightly more head weight given my tempo, slightly less loft, and 1* flatter on the lie, though my lie angle is pretty upright).  We went through several putter head options and talked though each one.  The recommendations were what I expected given the data.  They are going to send me photos of the Anser 4 next to the Kushin 4 side by side to compare. 

 

I'm impressed with the options they offer.  I've had several custom putters over the years and the options are essentially what you can get with a full custom from a boutique putter maker.  I think the fitting component adds a lot to the experience - obviously it would be great to do the in-person fitting in Phoenix, but it gives me confidence that the putter fits my stroke.

Sweet looking model. Are they welding the slant neck? Or is it milled from a single block?

My PLD Anser shipped yesterday so I should have it tomorrow. I did not get any pics during the process so very excited to see how it looks. I will post some pics when I get it.

I absolutely love it. Best feeling putter I've owned and I'm so happy that it is carbon. Did the mid mill yes. I installed a stability tour shaft about ten days ago and it is far and away the best putter I've used.

If this was for me, I went with the patina finish and it hasn’t changed.  It’s just lighting.

For those that have recently gone through the fitting, has the “glazed donut” finish been offered?

 

As a lover of Ping putters and donuts, this finish may put me over the edge of ordering one of these once they offer a heel shafted Shea/Piper model.

It showed up about an hour ago. About to head to the course to try it out but looks perfect. Had mid milling done on this one. It is 1 degree flat and 3 degrees of loft. Took some inspiration from JourdanM's putter and had the family's initials added to the tri-sole. 360 gram head.

Went through the virtual fitting yesterday and can confirm that the glazed donut and oyster finish were an option!

Its mostly the lighting but i do think it might be just a tad darker with using the CRC Silicone spray.

Awesome. I love seeing these customs. 
 

Looks like a lot of tungsten for +10g. Did you have any feedback on where they were placed? Used to seeing them on the face side, at least for the old JWs.

Stunning putter!!! I’ve got my fitting on Tuesday and am leaning towards the same design, but with a head weight of 355g. Be interesting to see if it gets a single plug in each end.
