Did you by chance play the G425 woods prior to these?  If so, how different are the 2 in comparison other than sound?  Specifically in weight, which feels “lighter”?  I play the G425 5W and love how “solid/heavy” they feel (216g head weight without adapter) and I’m  on the fence about trading-in for these.

I was very surprised in my fairway wood fitting that I was consistently getting faster club head and ball speeds with the G430 than the Rogue ST Max.

 

This was with the same shaft too, so it is wasn't counter-balanced shaft trickery.

The safe bet would be $599. Blame TM. I am very interested in this driver coming out though. Was looking for a change of pace from my G400 Max. Hopefully they are able to give more distance with this while keeping the forgiveness the Ping drivers are known for.

 

If I step into the SIM and start carrying this thing 285 with the same forgiveness as my G400 then Im swiping my card.

I was told  $580 (LST driver) and $550 (Max driver).  FW's are $500.

Kai'li White ,  Smoke Red RDX, Ping Tour  2.0  chrome, Ping Tour Black, and whatever the standard Ping stock shaft is  (usually Alta Cb stuff).

$500 for a Ping fairway is a ripoff when most OEM fairway woods are $350.

I know.  The price on the FW's is terrible.  I hope I'm wrong but that is what I was told by a very reputable dealer. I believe all the FW in the G430 line will be $500  (I think they all have carbon crowns).

I'm pretty sure the LST Titanium FW is the one that's $500 and not the Max/SFT models

Stealth+ was probable the most expensive at $430 so for Ping to go $70 above that is an awful business move in my opinion. Paradym will be like $350-400 with carbon crowns as well along with Stealth2.

anyone else not impressed with the looks of the 2023 new releases for all the major players (callaway, ping, taylormade)? sure performance might be better, but the looks are kinda meh. ping probably the best one since i like the green.

I think the Callaway looks sharp from the top (matte/gloss black combo, otherwise clean). But then I hate pretty much anything gloss on my clubs and so I think Ping looks the "best" even if not the "sexiest".

Anyone play. Mitsubishi shaft that is not a Tensei in their G430 or G425. I have played a Mitsubishi shaft in awhile. I hit Tensei a few times in a couple clubs.

Before they delayed the release of the G430 LST fairway the price was $999.99au in Australia. The Max version is $659.99au. The LST fairway here is the same set price as the G430 Max driver. 

 

Surely there is no chance at all the fairways will be the same price anywhere else when the LST is about 1.5x the price here.

The Kaili with 10.5 lst head sounds like a winner. Still want to compare to new cobra head and cally head. Do they have the kaili blue, want to put in 3 wood?

500 for the lst because it’s titanium. Standard g430 fairways will not be that price
