After watching that vid, my interest has been peaked once again, lol.  Looks like a slightly softer Ventus Black that's still stable.

So like hopefully a Ventus TR blue without having to tip it 1.25” to make it not go left

The VF will be in Jon Rahm’s driver in the near future..

Would make sense given the similarity to what he’s used for so long. Different, but only subtlety so. Going DI in all three metal woods wouldn’t shock me either.

I would be curious to see the HD profile if you’re able to pull that one for comparison?

Thanks for dropping that in here @bcflyguy1, comparing this to all the other GD shafts in the Fit2Score lineup this definitely reads like a M9003 successor, which @phizzy30 will be excited about hah. While it's definitely not a true "mid stiff" kind of profile compared to the market, it is FAR closer to it than any other GD product has been and is definitely a "tweener". It actually has a lot of overlap with the 4th and 5th Gen Diamana shafts, specifically the DF, and it reads almost like a "fairway" version of the PD. Definitely the most mid-stiff shaft in the AD lineup now.

With an increased swing speed I switched from a Ventus TR blue 6S to a 6X to get more “bang for the bucks”. The X performs really well I get some extra yards, but it feels too broady in my hands. Given the specs above, would a Tour AD VF feel smoother? Thanks!

According to the chart and feedback from testers, no it would feel even more linear (boardy) than TR Blue.  Closer to TR Black.

5X might be an option. Ian wasn’t hitting that shaft left and presumably it was untipped.

Edit: I have probably misunderstood the whole concept here, but what about the torque (2.9° in the TR 6X vs 3.3° in the VF 6X)? The VF would still feel more linear?

Agree that the most similar Ventus model to Tour AD VF is the TR Black. IMO the color with the biggest difference from the original series to the TR is in the Black. Mid-section of the OG Black is quite stiff, whereas the TR Black has a pronounced mid-section trough in the EI profile not seen in many shafts that the manufacturer classifies as a low launch and spin part. Individual results will of course vary, but for many players this will make TR Black feel more "kicky" through impact than the original even though it's advertised as being stiffer overall.

Got my 6x and 8x 

 

initial thoughts, based on freq I tipped these my normal 1” Driver and  1.5” 3 wood and they are still a little softer than the current Ventus black 6x and TR Blue 8x that I have been playing about 5cpm each. They swingweight about 1/2point heavier as well. 
 

I’ve read and listened to all the reviews on this shaft so far and my thoughts are much different. I find this shaft to be ultra smooth, more of the older OG Graphite design feel like DI and BB. It’s far smoother than Ventus TR Blue and not boardy at all. More of a softer feel to me. 
 

Havent got launch and spin numbers yet but it forsure launches a little higher than TR Blue and OG ventus Black. Should be able to get some number this week to confirm but overall really liked how this performed. Stable but super smooth
