Did Callaway drop the X grind? That would throw a wrench in this for me -- it had plenty of bounce, which rocked for full-ish swings, but was also great for opening and closing the face around greens. I'm open to trying other grinds, but I do wonder which would be the most comparable lob wedge option. The W has 12 degrees of bounce in the lob wedge like the X did, but I don't think it has the same heel and toe relief.

The grinds look great, but the shape still looks odd to me towards the hosel

Looks like they have a fully raw optino for the Opus non-platinum but only when the callaway customs option opens?

these look amazing. Too bad the platinum wedges have a platinum price. I am looking for a higher CG set once I need new ones and these look the part.

Yes, the Platinum versions have a tungsten weight up on the top of the wedge.

Callaway is really giving up on us lefties. Been waiting months to order this since I have a Callaway gift card. Come to find out my only options in black are 52/56/60 s grinds. Absolutely ridiculous.

The black ones look like the Bridgestone Tour Bs from a few years back (my favorite wedge ever). So yeah I’ll probably be getting these.

Getting fit for wedges as a lefty sucks balls, yet to find a fitter here in the UK that stocks enough options, and various grinds is impossible

Pretty much limited to Vokey, which offers not 100% of the options for lefties but probably 75%. And they release a decent number of the limited edition ones in left hand too.

Ping and Titleist have our backs. I will bag those two exclusively moving forward. Thankfully my bag is already 90% there, and they make the best gear anyways.

I would have liked to see the platinum with some lower loft options. I really like how the blue contrasts with the face to frame the ball. Likely going 50* Black Shadow and Platinum Blue 54*. I'll put these through the paces before looking at options for the 60*

I'm not left handed, but have come around after many years of trying a bunch of different brands, Japanese, etc...Seems in today's climate that these are the only 2 OEM's that can even come close to stated specs and custom specs that are requested.  They have great options, and the equipment is just damn consistent.

Grinds look great, love the look of that C-grind. But the chrome finish has way too much glare, I don't really like black, and raw only available in certain lofts.
