GC’s Morning Drive

I used to watch this show all the time. Now, it bores me to tears. I. Think Gary Williams is really good. But their assortment of golf writers serving as tv hosts just doesn’t work.

Bring back Holly Sonders. I’m kidding....sorta. She was a good host and had good chemistry with Gary.

I for one would love to see Holly back, don't see it happening though. I don't care what on her is fake or surgically enhanced she is very easy on the eyes!!!!

Holly been gone over 5 years, isn't even wanted on Fox golf anymore. There's already enough artificial and remodeled stuff on the set. If a show made me cry I wouldn't watch it, lol.

I enjoy it at times, but nothing makes me turn it off more than when they start slobbering all over Spieth and Thomss. Spieth hasnt wonin something like 27 months.

Was it ever that good? I can't imagine it getting worse.

Hanlon was a Cleveland guy and has kinda went to a bigger stage. He had some super low budget golf shows on local TV. Before Gulbis and Holly started coming on 18 holes, he had a complete smokeshow of a girl on there that was a NE Ohio girl named Carling. She probably has a more "natural" look than Holly, but she could beat the wheels off Holly golfing.

Wasn't she another Big Break "Celebrity", a la Blair O'Neal?

That was Carling Coffing, a Big Break contestant. Jimmy likes the cuties.

I try to watch on occasion and after maybe 5 minutes I have to move on.

Please get "The Coach" off of the show and have him stick to golf pro wrestling where he belongs. Hes simply horrible and there are hundreds of people more knowledgable that bring more to the table ( that's not saying much) than this clown. He's completely out of his element and not the least bit entertaining.

find him refreshing on the show...adds a little vibe to it. Damron too. The english women just don't have it. They are boring and fake excitement.

Shocked anybody wants Holly back. Just has nothing to add to the show or conversation. I’d much rather see Charlie Rymer come back. That’s how bad she is.

Everyone hates on holly till she asks for your phone number... haha.

Who enjoys the Men In Blazers? I don't understand what NBC sees in these guys. Their input on the Presidents Cup was neither funny or interesting.

Rory tried very to be diplomatic on the Reed question.

I can understand that. I imagine most people want to give a player the benefit of the doubt but the footage from 2015 hurts the Reed defence. If one wants to be cynical it looks like a ploy to improve the lie rather then the accidental outcome of a pre-shot routine.

I've said before I like Reed as I find him good to watch and he's different but the optics of this are really bad.

I personally don't have anything against him. I like watching him play and win because it pisses people off. That said, I think this is a big case public opinion and pitchforks. I admit he's brash and doesn't make it easy sometimes, but I personally think he wasn't intentionally doing anything malicious and defended himself as anyone would. Once they showed him video, then what could he do? He had to take the 2 strokes and move on. The whole pound of flesh thing is unnecessary for me at least. This is just piling on.

Linus misses RDD dearly, but demands different early morning viewing this time of year. Hallmark rules for him in December!

I saw RDD at the range a few weeks ago. Smooth swing.

I think he would be a blast to play a round with. He says the word Linus and I are on the way down!!

They should cancel morning drive and play reruns of Tin Cup every morning.

I was under the impression GC is already exclusively tin cup reruns with actual golf sprinkled in between.
