For some reason I have always liked a thinner top. To me they look easier to hit. Now the heel toe length looks super short. I would prefer a bit more in that direction.

Can't imagine these are any shorter heel to toe than the current offering, which I got to hit recently and is a very solid club. However, if forced to play them I'd be lining them up off the toe like JoAnne Carner used to do back in the 70s after she went through a bout with the h-rockets.

I was listening to a pod cast with the guy that designed the ping blue print irons. He stated that for guys that hit the middle of the face these types of clubs are actually better for them.

Sorry if has been mentioned. I noticed during the Presidents Cup, Rickie is back into C-taper shafts and plays the TP5 ball now? I believe he switched to S400's when he switched to the TP5X initially?

Interesting, I would definitely be interested in a set. I love those thin tops. To me i feel more confident with that. I am sure they will be watered down and changed though.
