Fubuki x won't be enough shaft for you. I got fitted into the x and don't swing as fast as you.

Working on that right now ;) Hoping to have Tour Specs or similar for both, if all goes as planned.

Okay... FINALLY.. Shootout is booked for this Wednesday!

So far:

• TM 460 Tour & 430 OTR with Aldila Rogue, ATX Blue, AD BB-6x, Kiyoshi White, Speeder 661

• Fourteen GelongD CT214 with Tour Spec 7.2x

• BBA - for sure the Fubuki X, possibly another shaft

• Ping i25 - stock shaft, possibly another

• Covert 2.0 Tour with Speeder 661

Edit.. just a few thoughts on this going into it..

Right now the 460/Rogue has just been ridiculously good for me.. long and straight and in tournament conditions. That said, there are a few things that have me curious to see how they end up. One is the Fourteen CT214.. this thing was stupid long but I had trouble keeping it in play at my course which is lined with OB on both sides of almost every hole. Two.. the CT2.0 was also getting out to spots my 460 got to and sometimes further.. will be interested to see what this one does. The Ping and BBA are more of my outliers that would really have to blow the doors off any of these setups for me to pursue further. I don't think the Ping will be a huge factor but the BBA was pretty solid last time I hit it. I'm working on getting a premium shaft setup for both the BBA and Ping to level the playing field a bit.

I have two hours set aside.. I will be bringing a few of these :superman2:

Tai, see you have the ATX Blue thrown in the mix there. I'm a bout to throw one in my R1 blindly as I need a little help with my LA but wanted to still try and keep spin down. I've heard nothing but good things about it, can you give me any feedback?

Tai, if you're going to hit the Ping with the stock shaft I would say don't bother. I thought the stock shaft was actually not as good as the previous stock Ping options. I'd be interested in seeing you hit the Elements Chrome shaft. Have read and heard nothing but good things about it. My sides hurt for you just thinking about hitting driver for 2 hours.

I think the 2 hours is more for the IV hookup and treatment  I have been hearing nothing but great things about the BCP, one of our pros just went on staff with Cobra and has rave reviews about it. Right now, I'm going with what I have.. adding the Cobra would be more $$$ which I have already committed enough of to this Shootout  If the opportunity arises, I will try to get some time on the course with one. I try to make sure I'm testing everything that I would actually play, the BBA and Ping I'm waiting on premium shafts for them to try right now.

I'm not sure how it will do in the R1, but it was really good in the SLDR. The SLDR heads are so low/low that mid launch shafts can do well in it.. the Blue was also very straight, that is one part that surprised me. In my experiences with the ATX Blue in the SLDR, I would say definitely try it, but in the R1, the results might not be as good as they were in the SLDR.

I actually struggle with LA and usually play the R1 at 11.25 which inherently adds spin so I'm hoping to be able to play it at 9.5/10. Currently have an Oban Devotion 7 05 in it now.

I don't remember ever having one, but I am old enough to remember it.
[/quote]

I used to partake of the Jolt Cola. I remember a finding a convenience store/gas station near a bowling center I used to visit carried Jolt, including all the cool new flavors of the 90s, like White Lightning, Cherry Bomb, and so on.

And yes, I tried them. The White Lightning was a clear grape, it was quite tasty. And caffeinated. It did the job. LOL

To be topical, I'm sitting here with virtual popcorn handy, waiting to read the results of the driver testing. I have spin issues of my own, and this thread gives me all kinds of ideas on how to spend money I shouldn't be spending on a new driver....

I believe gas stations used to keep Jolt in the car oil section between 5/30 and 10/40 weights.

Interesting there's no 913's in the test since they ranked so highly for you last year. I guess they're obsolete now since they're so old! You already know what they can do so it's probably pointless to include them in your shootout.

It's awesome that you do this stuff and post your findings, looking forward to the results. Go CT2.0!

Hayzoos was right. My favorites have been the Super Peening Blues, Modus 130X or 120TX depending on the irons.. and DG Tours have been good, but the first two options have been hands down my go to shafts.
