I'm starting to loose track of my golf purchases......... 😄 

I figured such nice Irons needed to be covered. I've got the Orange Bag, orange glove, and even a selection of orange shirts. Why not orange and black iron covers? 😄  😄

 

Edit: How could I forget about the orange grips??!! No wonder people think I'm a Rickie Fowler fan.... but he was learning how to tie his shoes when orange became my favorite color.... LOL😄

3 weeks ago I was proudly telling my wife that the “newest” item in my bag was more than 18 months old…..

 

3 weeks later the SIM Ti 5 wood is sold and replaced with a Rogue ST LS 5-Wood (it’s an absolute monster and perfectly fade bias)

 

Also the T100 irons have been replaced (for now - may keep them as a back up set) with i230 with PX LS 6.0 shafts (jury is still out on the shafts as I’ve played and loved DG/AMT shafts for years)

 

There’s also an itch for new MG4 wedges but may wait until after winter for those!!

Upgraded the bag, just everything is coming in pieces...

-Been waiting on the irons since July, expected 10/16, all because of Project X 6.5, 7 iron shaft...

-3 wood came in the mail then got snipped, waiting to get out and hit it

-New 52,56, and 60

Just wanted to post a follow up to this. 
 

Took them out this weekend and have never struck the ball so well in my life. I was stunned. Distance control was so precise. Much more forgiving than the looks let on and launched the ball higher with more spin vs. the 0211s (there’s your distance control). As a bonus, they feel like butter and are pretty to look at. 
 

May be fool’s gold after only one round but I’d say to anyone toying with the idea of making a move like this, go for it…

Today I got my latest eBay purchase, a Vokey SM-6 56° Sand wedge in very good condition, for $49.95 with free shipping. I always wanted to try a Vokey wedge, and after doing my research I came across this beauty, and I just couldn't pass it up.

eBay can be a treasure trove of used but excellent quality clubs, but you have to do your research. I rarely bid on auctions anymore, preferring to either use the Buy It Now option, or the Make An Offer option, either of which have gotten me some great deals.

I found the matching 4i for my JPX 921 HMP iron set with blackout 5.5 Project X LZ shafts. I put a Lamkin crossline grip on to match the set +2 wraps on the bottom only.

 

I was having a hard time filling the gap from 5i to 5w, as I'm not a hybrid player. I looked at some of the newest driving irons, but I'm not a fan. The JPX's are rocket launchers. Smash factor on my 4i better than all the driving irons I tried. It has 19 degrees of loft and was brand new in the wrapper. Got it at the new Globalgolf outlet in Tampa.

Picked up these irons from Toura golf with the OG X100s. Very happy with them after 6 weeks.

Recently went a bit mad. Arrived in Japan and the second hand golf stores are just insane. 

 

I've tried a few Japanese JDM balls before, bought a sleeve of nexgen, kasco, srixon z star diamond and randomly, some rzn.

 

Super cheap suede gloves, 700 yen each (5 USD). Might be the best glove I ever had, very similar to the all weather footjoy.

some interesting magnet tees and a cheap wrench.

 

Toulon bag in beautiful Tiffany green colour.

 

Random monster head cover and a Taylor made knit.

 

5 brand new second hand wedges.

64 hi toe - my favourite wedge, difficult to find in good condition.

50,56 Japanese forged wedges and 51,57 very random brand.

 

Mini BRNR 13.5 - negotiated they bought back the standard shaft and I bought a random attas cool 7x.

A few days later I found the 5x and wanted to compete.

Just got my “new to me” Srixon Zx7’s that I bought off a fellow WRX member - was playing Mizuno JPX 900 forged before and these Srixon’s are seemingly an upgrade in every way. 
 

Thrilled to play these - they feel incredible. Even with my “telephone pole shafts.” Seems like not a lot of other people get along with the C-tapers but I love ‘em.

Love that - it's a dream for me to play there! Also have really wanted to play Colorado GC where the stroke play was. Saw you're local, so wondered! Hoping maybe (just maybe) I could get out on Colorado GC one day. Heading up to see family in a month!
