So order it from rakuten.... Most companies have releases for a specific market.

Yea Rakuten is a solid option but I just heard the Arna will be released in the U.S by the end of January.

I think you get what you pay for with these models. Ping does good work and the craftsmanship on the putters that I putted with and inspected was as good as you will find. If I were a blade guy, I'd be all over the Voss. Innovative yet classic looking...how do they do that?

Can't wait for my Oslo to get here!!!

I know there was some interest in regards to Ping removing the flange line and adding a sight line/dot. Since these are milled in house, I figured there was a distinct possibility Ping WRX could do it.

I asked Seannie at Morton's, who confirmed that Ping will not remove the flange line from the Voss or Anser 2.

That said, I'm sure you can still add an additional sight line or dot. If you do choose to go down that road, I recommend working with Seannie as well, she is a rockstar for any WRX requests.

Good to know but that's not saying much. The latest insert on the Cameron select line is not his best work. Maybe the tour version with GSS feels better but the SS version is not for me.

The feel of these was disappointing. Loud, feels like you never get it square. The Oslo was incredibly accurate though. I think the gray 1966 remake has a better feel than these. That putter is very underrated.

My first tryout left me disappointed. Loved the look but not a fan of the grip or the feel. Second time around was much better, probably because I was putting better. I really liked the feel but still hate the grip. If I get one, it will be a Voss with PP58 midsize cord.

Can anyone confirm if the silver finished models are plated or if they are bead blasted stainless?

- Josh

I can't confirm it, but in person the silver looked plated to me. Looked better than the Anser Milled line's plating but it still looked plated. A bit dull, chalky looking.

The Anser 2 feels great though. Great shape and look to it. The thin top line looks awesome at address.

Oslo is a great putter.... Sets up really well, doesn't move at all when on the ground, very stable, bigger than I expected but not in a bad way, good feel and puts a nice roll on the ball. I also like the new grip.... I am excited to get it onto the course and see how it does. The slate is a lot lighter than in the photos and has some blue tint to it. I originally wanted the platinum but now prefer the slate.

I was wrong about the stock Pistol 62 grip, after one round of way too many putts and a few pulled short ones it came off.

Hmm...my first round with the Voss lacked in the feel department a bit. I blamed it on the greens... May need to save the grip and try my usual setup to see if/how the feel changes.

I think I may have the same reaction. You're not the first to say this. I though it felt good in the store, but I may need to have a SS Pistol GT Tour waiting in the wings in case the PP62 doesn't cut it.

The PP62 makes the head feel really light to me, I put a SS GT1.0 on and the balance of the putter is much better IMO.

Rolled a few putts at GG with the Anser model; don't know if it was the grip or what, but the putter felt hard and loud; will try again; hoping for a better result.

It's not just you. Ping did everything right on this putter outside of feel which just might be the most important aspect of a putter.

Funny, i felt the opposite, i.e. Muted sound and feel. I have a voss and I'm thinking the grip is likely the culprit here. Have not ripped mine off yet though.

Maybe I had a certain expectation because it's a milled putter, but the feel was just too firm. I thought this putter would have the feel of the new 1966 Anser 2 stainless which has fantastic feel.

I've heard a few say a grip change made a big difference.

...

I didn't love the balance through the stroke of the oslo. The bergen seemed to flow more freely for me. The voss is a beauty. My local stores didn't have any slate finishes though or else I likely would have picked one up. I was surprised by how relatively soft the face feel is off these putters.

-----

I have a Nome from a few years ago now. Briefly tried a Odyssey Big T V Line but ultimately shelved it.

I putted with both a Bergen and Oslo for about an hour at the GG in Rockville, MD recently. I had really wanted to buy an Oslo but it too felt a bit wobbly for lack of a better term in the backstroke than the Bergen. The Bergen they had, had a grip that wasn't straight so I bought neither. They also didn't have the slight arc which they had said they had in stock before I drove 1 hr and 20 min there (one way). I was a bit frustrated and ended up just buying a SNSR 140G Straight grip for my Nome. I'm loving it so far. If I end up buying one, it would probably have to be the Bergen. It just felt more balanced. It seems like the Oslo would do better in some ways with the weight out on the wings vs center loaded on the Bergen. I wonder if the Bergen has the inside of its hump milled out? Anyone know?

Rolled the Oslo, anser, and voss. Can't remember what grip was on the Oslo but it felt very hard and harsh when rolling putts. This was outside on a proper green with a mix of new range balls, Callaway and Wilson duos. I immediately shelved that putter and the rep handed me the voss. The voss had the black ping midsize grip and at first strike it felt phenomenal. It had that springy soft trampoline sweet spot that my scotty has. Great feel. I immediately felt like I was able to hit more putts in that sweet spot than my scotty. It definitely felt like it had a larger sweet spot. After a few putts I was handed the anser 2 with the big superstroke like grip and hated it. Felt lighter and no feedback whatsoever. I felt like it was 100% the grip as it was such a night and day difference between the two.

Needless to say but I pulled the trigger on the platinum voss and couldn't be more excited. I have never felt such a soft ping putter before and can't wait to compare it head to head with my cameron and some prov1s on course.
