Nothing on Costco Canada's website....anyone know if they will be available here soon

They do NOT appear anywhere on the costco.ca website. I tried ordering some off the costco.com site and it kept telling me my Costco user name and password

are "invalid"\

I would have to say that these balls are NOT available to Canadian Costco customers !!!

It probably wouldn't be worth the shipping, but I'd be glad to ship you a box. They would cost me $34.98 delivered with tax and then whatever shipping to Canada would be. PM if you are interested.

Glad to help out a fellow WRX'r.

Thanks for the offer, but once you convert that price to Cdn. dollars and add in shipping they just aren't a deal....I'll wait and see if they become available up here in the Great White North ;)

Most of the guys "hung up" on the logo seem to be buying and liking the ball anyway. They're just point out the obvious. It's a cheap-looking logo, tiny number and looks like something you'd find advertised on an informercial.

Who knows, if Costco keeps selling these for a while they might even improve the cosmetics. Which they could do at no cost if they wanted.

I don't think they look cheap! As long as they are round, I could care less what's printed on the golf ball.

So you do care what's printed on the ball?

Played my first round with the KSig. Great ball, especially for the money. I found them easy to predict on approach shots with overall good feel. Maybe a tad clicky on putts, but I've been playing the Chrome Soft which feels soft to me. Had a few chips run out more than expected but we're talking a couple feet. Nothing unusual. I'll be stocking up on these.

Played another 18 with the ksig. Dropped a 75 and never once noticed any distance or playability compared to my usual tour platinum.

So good so cheap much love

It's amazing that you weren't laughed out of the country club with balls of such ill reputed font design.

You'd think we were insulting someone's wife, child or dog when we point out that the printing on these balls looks cheap and ugly. Does anyone actually think it looks good?

Or am I missing sonething and the ugly printing is why the balls works well?

I don't think anyone is insulted.

It's text.

On a golf ball. (a damn fine ball)

Seems like the ones who Don't Like the font are the ones kicking up a fuss.

Everyone else seems OK about it.

Yeah, compared to a Chrome Soft, a ProV1 feels firm/clicky. Actually, almost every other premium ball, outside of the low compression Bridgestone RXS will feel firm compared to it

Played a quick nine with the Ksig today. Shot an even par 35. I don't mean this as a negative but it played similar to TPx for me and nothing special about it other than it is a real good ball that only costs $15/dozen. Driving and iron distances were similar to my usual (maybe a few yards less on iron shots then I am used too but that could be pilot error). One thing I really liked was that my iron shots were within a few feet of my ball mark every time. For me, the beauty of it is that it is so cheap and performs just as well as TPx and V1x for me. Wish I had more but nothing stood out.

Ha ha..if you reread your post then you know why people think they stand out.

A 15 dollar dozen ball performed as good as TPx and V1x --- that alone is why it stands out!

That was my point. I wish I could say they went 50 yards further or straighter or made me breakfast in the morning. They did not do any of that. But they are a steal at $15/dozen.

Round two with the same KSig, unforunately it has to be retired because of a tree mark. However, it performed tremendously in helping me win my three matches today...

During my round today, I hit some 50-100yd pitch shots with my selection of "tour" balls (TPX, TP, ProV1) comparing them head-to-head to the K-Sig. There was very little, if any, noticeable difference in spin/launch, nothing I could discern at least. Everything was 1 hop & stopping. I hit a couple 100yd pitches with my 51* that must have launched under 23* but still grabbed quickly with the K-Sig.

So the seam line-up theory:

Do you line it up vertically (like a putting line) or horizontally across the face of the club?

So... all things being equal, when putting, the seam would be lined up vertically. This would give you the smoothest area albeit a thin one. However all things are not equal. The biggest benefit I have had from lining up the seam, or simply lining up a line, is that it slows me down and makes me think more about what I'm doing.

I floated some balls and found all (kirks and titties) but 1 Titleist was noticeably unbalanced... Did I notice a difference on the putting green no.... I hit putts lining up the axis I marked and really didn't see any performance drop when I didn't... Now the reason I did this is because once in awhile I had some weird rolls and weird driver flights... I did find when I consistently teed the ball the same and lined the ball up the same I got none of these "weird" patterns but it didn't magically add yards or cause every putt to track to the hole.

The Pro v1x's I floated were unbalanced too. I think in the right situation, with the right circumstances like a miss or poor move on the ball, or the mis hit breaking putt, it could make a difference... but well struck balls... or putts rolled the usual 10-15"past the hole speed should be negligibly effected by it. I'm sure there's a way to figure out just how much a ball is out of balance, and then calculate the effect using some constants and equations... but honestly I don't care enough, and my head is hurting just thinking about the process.

The ball is great, I haven't been putting well but that's me not the ball.. and when I pound both a pro v1x and the Kirk the Kirks is about 3-5 yards shorter carry wise which puts it right on par with the TM TPX. That's with me and my current driver... The Kirk flies high for me off the driver and I feel like if I fit for the ball I can flatten out the flight and get 10 or so more yards in the air and some roll (I'm getting 0 at best right now, but it is soft this time of year)

I got 2 packs (4 dozen) on the way. Even if your not a Costco member you can still order online by paying a $3 non member fee. Even with that and the 6 bucks in shipping it came to just over $17 each. Incredible price for what you get. Can't wait to try them.

All my friemds who are casual golfers and won't pay over 20 bucks for a dozen balls and just buy mojos or anything else in the price range will eat these up

I am a $20/dozen guy myself nowadays which has meant AAAAA used ProV1x are generally my best option. Gotta admit when my stock is depleted a new ball with similar performance is a more attractive option. Couple bucks s dozen cheaper, too.
