The wedges had an asterisk when i was in the other day. Balls were not discounted.

I didn't even look for balls last time I was there.  I did pick up a 4 pack of gloves but didn't notice any balls.  I might have to go back tomorrow and check it out.  2 dozen for $20 is a bargain.

 

If they are being discontinued I wonder what is coming next?  It would be cool to see something like Snell at Costco.  They have carried various Callaway and Taylor Made versions in the past and I can't see them not having a ball.

Just got back from Costco.  2 dozen KSig for $19.97, a couple of pallets full on display, I picked up 4 dozen.

I don't play the ksig too much anymore.  I bought the 4 dozen for $40 just in case the market goes crazy when they can't get them anymore, lol. 

 

My real purpose is for winter golf next year.  It's a hard ball to beat at $10 a dozen during winter when tee shots plug and get lost under leaves.

Well crap, now I'm worried the balls are going away. I'll pick up a couple of boxes if they're still there and marked down next time I'm there.

 

So if my Kirkland balls do go away, what's the next best value ball out there? Gotta start planning.

If they go away and they Costco doesn't come out with something new, I don't think you'll find anything close to the same value.  Probably won't be able to do better than Vice/Maxfli/Snell prices and those are all double the price of the KSig's.  Looks like the new Snell balls won't be available until at least next month.  Their site says "presale" starts next week but I don't know when they would start shipping.

I'm still shocked they never fixed the cover issue on the last 4 piece. Sounded like it was a simple manufacturing issue.

I know the Ksigs are great ball at a great value..I've been playing Vice Pro and LOVE them.  When they have the 5+1 deal it comes out to $28/dozen.  That includes tax and shipping.  $25/doz before tax and shipping.  I just purchased 10 dozen on top of the 4 doz. Maxfli Tour (great ball), 3 doz. Ksigs, 1 doz Snell MTB-X and 3 doz. TP5 (2020).  I'm good till 2026

Also... Sam's Club is currently carrying a 2 dozen pack of Vice Pro for $49.98 and they had them $10 off back in February so $20+tax per dozen. Hoping they do that again soon.

Maxfli Tour, 4 for $120 - DSG has coupons and have rewards money. Oncore Elixer, maybe? 2 for $50. But 3 get 1 free. $90.00

I will not hoard the ksig 3pc…..repeat after me. I will not hoard the ksig 3pc. For all the golf ive played this year, ive used a lot less then years past when i started hoarding golf balls. 
 

took dozen to bandon, came back with 10 balls. Palm springs, took 3 dz, after giving my cousin 2 sleeves, came back with 26. Have used 3 sleeves of my ksig 3pc at various muni courses here. Despite these golf trips,  Ive posted my stash before on this thread, but at a quick estimate from memory i still have 40dz+ at home

 

i banned myself from nike.com. Im thinking also going to ban myself from buying new golf balls. 
 

maybe by the time i run out, we’ll finally see a new 4pc from costco. Haha.

Unless something has changed, those are older model versions of the Vice balls.  Many have reported durability issues with the older model but it's not something that I have experienced personally.

I saw that as well. I've gone thru about 1 dozen and haven't noticed anything glaring. They seem very durable to me.

19.97 at my Costco in NJ. Got 3 boxes for my uncle and 2 for myself. I’m stocked for years now did 2 orders for the titleist sale and an order for callaway chrome soft sale. 16 dozen balls already purchased and the weather is just on the cusp of breaking. The Costco balls are for the early spring and fall season.

I know it’s light on details, but expect a restock soon. I assume it will be a Kirkland ball already on the conforming list but I suppose there’s a possibility it is new stock from a different company. Then there is the least likely possibility, that this is a new Kirkland ball, which will show up on the next update of the conforming ball list.

Lets hope the new Irons come in with the new balls!  They usually release their equipment around the time of The Masters.

I assume new stock means it’s still the same ball then? Just wish these balls didn’t spin so much

Why would they be clearancing these out just to restock the same ball? Doesn't make sense to me. Maybe there is a V3 3 piece ball. I don't recall much notice when they switched over to V2...they just started showing up.

Are they "clearing them out" or are they just on sale for pre-golf season? They've been marked down before, but I'm not sure how low. I would expect if there were anything new on the horizon it would already be on the conforming list.

 

I guess a V3 is a possibility....I never have understood how the V1 and V2 could be different balls but have the same markings and only have one entry on the conforming list. I guess there must be some leeway for tweaking before it becomes a "new ball"?
