Wouldn't be surprised to see taylormade make him a bonded m2 430. To say a company wouldn't make him a one off without a deal is just crazy. It's tiger ffs. And especially with all of the versions taylormade has on tour in recent memory, it's more likely than not they made him a one off.

It's Tiger - a guy who can't make cuts and had lost about every major endorsement possible

Why would they make him a one off head? He couldn't sell Nike drivers he's not gonna sell TM ones either

Yep, because nobody bought the TW edition drivers.

Wether you like him or not, if he plays a club people are going to want it. Maybe not you but many would.

Nike woods, unmarked either miura or mizuno blades and Bridgestone ball. FACT. Seen it with my own eyes 2 weeks ago

so.... are you near Jupiter, or Bluejack ?

He isn't near Bluejack. I am at Bluejack and Tiger hasn't been out here since he did is 5 hole exhibition. the club was closed for almost the entire month of August for maintenance. Take into account the Ryder cup and Parnevik saying he has seen him out at the Medalist club grinding my bet is Florida

Probably a little bad choice of words about blind kids

for a fact Nike told each one of their staffers they would make them as many back ups of each of their clubs as they wanted. including getting them balls. Rory apparently got 5 sets of irons and 4 drivers and as reported enough golf balls for 3 and a half years. No clue on Tiger though but being out at Bluejack and it had an Oven and it was the largest Nike contract in the States until the announcement we get to hear a lot about what is going on with Tiger. NO CLUE what he might be trying or is going to game possibly next week but he told our President of the Club that since the announcement he has had more boxes delivered to his house than all other years combined. haha. I do know that he is putting with the old SC again but that is all.

I don't think it's a stretch for him to try a TM driver since he has done it before. The irons...I could see Mizuno or Miura for sure but they would have to be dead on like his Nikes. Wedges, I think they will be Nike wedges. they make really good wedges IMO. As for the ball I think that would be the most shocking since that is the one thing that could seriously change how you play. Apparently the ball Kuch plays is a REALLY good ball. Ironically Patrick Reed was talking about that ball about a month ago. We were in the club workshop working on clubs with the guy we all use and we all were discussing tour only balls and I mentioned the left dot Titleist ( the ball Rickie Plays which is a super low spin ball) and how much I loved it and wish I could get my hands on more of them. Patrick said oh hell no. Kuch plays the best ball on tour. He said when they were playing together getting ready for a Ryder Cup or Pres. cup (don't remember) (previous one not 2016) he said he told Kuch they would play his ball if they needed to. He said he would happily switch to that ball if he could. Must be something special then. He went on and on about it and how It went the exact same distance into the wind, side wind, whatever. he said it cut's right thru the wind and doesn't move off it's line. ever.

As for Tigers contract pre the announcement I think it is safe to say it had verbiage in it that stated if he felt like a Nike club didn't perform to his desired specs then he could play something UNTIL they made something he found acceptable. Any decent agent would make sure that is in there if you had someone on the top tier of players. I doubt Tiger could just play a new bag of stuff if he wanted to on a whim but if he felt he needed to Nike wouldn't stop him. possibly some financial incentives in there for how many clubs were in the bag on avg. or something along those lines. Tiger is a tinkerer, he likes to try things and fiddle but it will take something perfect or extremely significant to make it into the bag.

Like everyone else, I just hope he tees it up and get's back to playing. Makes golf a lot more fun to watch.

You are going to love Bluejack if you make it out. CW is ok. In Texas we have a lot of courses that feel or play like CW, that is likely why I am not impessed. But Bluejack on the other hand, is very different than most anything we have here. The nearest course I have played that reminds me of BJ is outside of Little Rock, AR. I do have serious concerns as to how BJ will survive, they are looking for families. Everything is pretty much set up for families, that includes the short course and driving range.

He did have a Cameron logo grip on his Method putter during Ryder Cup, which is not unusual for him at all as he has used same style grip on several Nike variants.

One swing where he goes after it to keep up with the young guys. Funny look, grab back permanent retirement. After 3 back operations has to be in the back of his mind. Obviously doesn't think he will play all that well as he has already accepted a vice captain position for the presidents cup.

So....Bubba and Furyk are retiring as well?

Were tour players "stuff" actually cast/forged (manufactured from metal to finished product at "The Oven" or simply assembled at "The Oven"?

Was "The Oven" simply the source for R&D and then product was farmed out for mass production?

Serious questions.

Every manufacturer (except PING) designs the club and has foreign (generally Chinese) foundries forge/cast the heads and they are finished/assembled by the OEM. This doesn't make them 'farmed out.'

Mizuno still forges their clubs in Japan (Hiroshima) and sends them to China for finishing. I believe their cast clubs are cast in China.

Nike Golf no longer supply equipment, he'd better switch now. If you look at the alternative, he's not going to switch next year before the first major.

He at least has 6 months to figure out the equipment side.

You're assuming he doesn't go out and shoot 80 - I assume he will and he won't even be playing on tour next year. he's given us no reason to think otherwise.

But in what world do you know what's best for Tiger's equipment needs than he does?

Would you tell Lebron James what shoes to wear?

I HAVE talked to LeBron about which shoes to wear. I recommended Sketchers.

I read that Lebron's actual gameworn Nikes were modeled after old LA Gear and Nike just made the to aesthetically resemble the retail version.
