New SM7's

I have the SM7 48° and find it very versatile. Use it for full shots as a weak PW / strong GW. Also use it a lot for chipping, and on pitches where I want a little release.

My 58M has become the MVP in my bag, as I had predicted. There isn’t a shot inside 100 yards I can’t play with this thing. Bump and runs to flop shots, my favorite club in the bag at the moment. Highly recommended.

I so want a 56D grind. I tried the 56F and 56S and it didn't have enough heel relief. I like the M grind for dry to normal days but when its damp it doesn't work. Unfortunately, Vokey doesn't make a high bounce 56 with heel relief.

You could get a Raw Vokey (or maybe the Black, isn't it raw underneath?), have someone grind the heel slightly, add weight for balance.

holy about 100 holes in with SM7.

 

My Sand game has never been better. So much confidence in the 60M for the short sand shots - had a 35 yarder switched to the 56S and opened it up and smashed the sand and was very happy with result.

 

I don't like the brushed finish though. I have a chrome set coming in (I always play chome!) and PX 6.0 to match my incoming irons.

The looks, feel, and consistent performance are absolutely astonishing. I LOVE the 54.

 

On a side note. I have a pic of them, but the uploader says the file is too large. iPhone issue?

 

Go to My Settings, Manage Attachments and clean out your old pictures. We all have only certain amount of storage.

Sweet. Did you do the white paint fill yourself? Was thinking of doing the same but wasn't sure how the black finish would handle the acetone....

Have you thought about bending a 54M 2*weak? 2* extra bounce might be enough for you.

I did. Also did a Ping-ish White fill on the bottom groove too. The acetone has no effect on the finish. I did it because I didn’t want to look like a blind fool while I was grabbing a wedge. In the right light, the black on black stands out OK. But most of the time I was 6 inches from the clubs and squinting.

 

The trajectory claims on these are pretty accurate. I LOVE where the CG is on these. I can recommend them...and getting fitted for them...enough.

Mine arrived from them yesterday as well. 50F 54S 60D. Not sure if its just my eyes but the shape of the Sm7s look so much better then the Sm6s. Look a little smaller with straighter leading edge

I just picked up my custom ordered 52 F from golf galaxy. I asked for the stock shaft, but instead got the Tensei red for no additional cost. Not really sure how to feel about it at the moment. It looks absolutely awesome but does anyone have any experience with this shaft in a wedge?

Been playing Vokey wedges since 2009 exclusively except for that one night stand with Cleveland CG 14's. These SM7's are the best Vokey wedges I've ever played!

Really liking these wedges (have had every Vokey series since the SM4). The KBS Tour shafts are a nice compliment to the Tour-Vs in my irons. I did the white paint fill tonight.

Raw. Took a pic of the gap in shade and one in sunlight from the garage. These are so good.
