I'm pretty sure you can feel the milling. Almost like a deep milled putter.

That's what I was thinking too. Then what impact, if any, does that have on ball flight or shot shaping ball flight? I know Ping has had a rougher face since the G line for spin reduction but this is on a whole new level.

I guess they're trying to improve ball flight consistency across the face? Idk seems kind of gimmicky to me.

I like it in the black, wish the face was left milled without the black coating. F8+ w/ 44" shaft sounds tasty.

I'm a diehard Cobra fanboy and this is very disappointing in the looks department. I could live with the busyness or the Tailor-made ripoff, but not both at the same time.

 

The irons look OK, the fairways slighter better, but that driver, yikes.

 

Headcovers are cool, I guess?

 

Really need to see these in person.

I am a major cobra fanboy and these do not look good. Performance is probably solid, but in the looks dept, they have whiffed.

 

I'll keep my LTD and Baffler.

Drivers look terrible Tbh. The F8 looks very similar now to the M4 which I'm guessing Taylormade is probably more pissed about than Cobra.

 

Unless these offer extreme gains over my current M2 (which we all know won't happen) then I definitely won't be buying. The only good thing is stock "real deal" shafts, but Cobra is already pretty good about getting in real deals at no up charge.

Cobra has not moved the needle for me, at all, since the Tour Trusty wedge. However, I am uber intrigued by these. A lot of tech packed into them and I dig the milling on the face and overall look.

i dunno, i kinda like the woods. to me it looks busy, but not distracting. all depends on how it plays though. if they are rocket launchers. there will be lots of wrx'ers gettin um.

Personally, I think they look awesome. Yes, they are busy, but not off-putting in my opinion. I especially like the Nardo gray.

Another Cobra player here that is a bit disappointed. The Drivers in black are fine and FWs in black would be fine. Don't like the gray color scheme at all though. Not a big fan of the rails either personally (even though they DO help others), so I kinda wish they had non-rail FW versions. Still like my LTD Blacks the best.

I'm with you. I don't mind it at all. I like something that looks a little different and stands out some. Last thing I want to see if all the companies just have plain black drivers.
