So many great stories. Kuchar makes good, Zach wins a third, multiple players could win their first major, Spieth defends, and of course, TW returns to win his fifteenth. Which outcome do you think makes the best story?

Oh, there's no question ... Tiger winning is one of the great stories in sporting history.

Beau Hossler winning The Open tomorrow would be even more notable.

Ideal leaderboard with 3-5 to play:

An 10 way tie between

1. Tiger

2. Rory

3. Jordan

4. Kuuuuch

5. Noren

6. Molinari

7. Zach

8. Fleetwood

9. Rosie

10. An unknown who’s in the clubhouse with a 59.

Anyone think Tiger is actually injured for real right now? His distance seemed off to me.

Maybe just smooth swings and I'm imagining it?

Another option: too much Balvenie this evening while rewatching the broadcast.

I think something doesn't feel too good with him. Doesn't mean it's back surgery related, something can always get tweaked on anyone. He didn't look good on one of my good old redneck health tests. I always notice when a player bends down to pick a ball up if they really put a lot of pressure on the putter in their other hand. I see some guys look like they bend the dang lie angle it's shaking so much. Like they are using it to hold themselves up. Anyway, doesn't really mean anything, just an observation.

Spieth came off like a jerk when he said "I don't get paid to do this announcing" when reviewing other golfers on the course.....im sure he was kidding, but his dry personality came off kinda awkward

I've always sensed that most of these guys really aren't thrilled about giving these post round interviews, especially when they hear the same questions again and again. It's just something they have to put up with.

If these guys are asked about themselves, it seems a bit more tolerable. But when they are asked about other players, or if they are asked to comment on something everyone is seeing with their own eyes, I'm sure the patience wears thin. Jordan just let it come out.

Didn’t look great in the interview with Sands. Hunch-y.

Tiger wearing a shirt with a collar today... either he’s hiding that KT tape or he didn’t get the sponsorship $$ he wanted. Lol

Who do you guys think is hitting it the best? To my layman’s eyes, it’s Xander.

He missed so many very makeable birdie putts. Could have been 4 up on everyone with the way he was striping approach shots on the back 9.

Eh, I wouldn't even put it above Jordan leaving to play baseball and then coming back to win another 3 peat.

I’m hoping to see balls rolling into burns, up against bunker faces, lost balls and some amazing recoveries. I don’t know if I would rate another Open rota course above this one except maybe Muirfield. The Old Course doesn’t hold up as well to modern golf. This course is killing it. Now all we need is an established champion to win. Jordan, Tiger or Rory.

Lol. I do admire you’re reverse psychology skills. It’s rory who hates wind.

Love the comments from Tigers playing partners—“it’s like playing with a mythical creature”

Lol

It really is remarkable how much attention he brings. So much panache...

“It was crazy – crazy to think so many people can follow one person. There were probably a couple holes where people were standing 15 to 20 deep on his side.

“That was definitely something I’m not used to.”
