Put a G400 22 hybrid in the bag. Money!

I've got a G400 3 wood arriving today to compliment my driver. Our 220 par 3 7th has been kicking my arse and I want revenge!

I would love to put a G400 wood in the bag by my G30 5 wood is doing pretty well right now.

I'm new to Ping clubs and am really liking my GMax 400 driver. This club should give me a lot of versatility off the tee.

Put a wide flange acushnet bullseye putter in the bag. Retro baby! Similar to one I had as a teenager and when I putted well. Made some nice putts yesterday but can't say I made everything. I basically suck at putting so making a change can't hurt.

My senior bag.......

I'm not trying to be snarky here, but the belief that you "suck at putting" is the main reason that you aren't as good at putting as you would like to be.

Going back to my trusty old Ping Ketsch Heavy CB putter. Something bugged me about the club other than its performance and it never should have been banished in the first place but, I'm happy I came to my senses and stuck it back in the bag. It's hard to hit a bad putt with it and nothing frames the line like that club, for me. You still see lots of them on both Tours, for good reason. It plain works, even with a dodgy stroke.

added a ping vault 2.0 stealth ZB. my putting has improved tremendously....4 rounds in a row without a 3 putt

Just got one myself. Ilove the look but Im hot and cold with it. The sweet spot is pretty small, but the feel is incredible. You can really feet a toe hit. I know I missed it right away. Lagging seems easier to dial in.

I almost dont care because I love how it looks so much.

I already answered, but there was another change I completely forgot. In general I always leave adjustable settings in neutral. But, I moved my Titleist driver from A-1 (where it has been parked for years) to C-3. Absolutely astounded at the difference in length and ball flight. It is supposed to increase draw and add .75 degrees loft. To my great, great surprise this new setting is apparently the optimum for my swing, as it has added a solid 15 yards to my drive and softened my fade. The setting did not change my power fade to a draw in any way, but it did make the fade smaller.

I've always been very skeptical of the adjustable settings, but now I stand corrected. They can make a difference.

if you hit it way out on the toe, you know....just off center and it still feels amazing and distance control has been great.

Put the Spider Tour Red in my bag in mid-June and have never putted more consistently. Fired a 66 (-6) a few weeks ago and made everything. Even poor strokes seem to get closer to the hole than normal. Also love the slant neck mallet look. Like a true WRX'er I'm now looking to add a slant neck Odyssey Jailbird Mini or maybe drop the big $$$ on a slant neck PXG Bat Attack!!!

Two major changes... I switched from MP25s to 714 MB/CBs. The MBs are just more fun to work and more satisfying to hit well. I also buffed them to satin and paintfilled them which makes them even more fun to play.

I also went from x100s to x100 AMTs. I finally feel like I have the best shaft for my swing right now (I have tried kbs tour, kbs ctaper, as well)

4 years? Didn't the Epic come out in 2016?

Side question: Can you use your time machine and tell me whether i should press my bet on DJ this weekend? Thank you

Biggest change for me was only a temporary one, but it has made an impact (so far) on my game. In the beginning of the year, I was struggling with my putting. I putt with a Rife anser head shape, and switched to an O Works 7s. It was the first time I've tried a mallet putter that wasn't completely face balanced. I only played a couple rounds with it, but the feeling it gave me was great. It still moved on an arc, but gave me a better feel for the face and making sure that I swing through the ball. One of my biggest faults putting is that, since I putt left hand low, I've gotten used to triggering my stroke with a tiny bit of forward press. However, sometimes, that feeling would cause me to push my putts because my concern became holding that forward press position to keep the face square, but it would inhibit rotation. The lesser toe hang of the Odyssey allowed me to feel like I was releasing my putts, but not so much that I'm pulling them, or involving my wrists too much. Although statistically, I didn't improve much while using the O Works, when I switched back to my Rife, it was like reuniting with a long lost friend. It felt so much easier to control the putterface, and my last few rounds have definitely shown it.

Going back to a blade putter. Have been on a mallet kick for a few years. Odysseys 7's, Scotty X5, Ping Ketsch (closest I've come to being fully satisfied). A few rounds ago I put my old Redwood Anser back in the bag and suddenly everything feels right in the world again.

Turned the grip on my putter 90 degrees counter-clockwise to accommodate my "index fingers down" style. This has helped considerably with getting my putts started on the intended line.

I don't know anyone that putts this way, but if you're like me and you have your pointer extended when gripping your putter, try this out.

A similar effect can be made possible with a Flatso, but me no likey da flatso
