Same. F9 and iBlades. I've changed nearly every club in my bag this year and they are all dialed in for the season now. I can sense the hoeing has come to an end.

1. F9 has picked me up probably 20 yards in the air over D2

2. iBlades are far for accurate for me than the AP2 and CB I was using.

3. Switching back to Vokeys from Glides was positive though I feel like the Stealths with S300 would've been awesome I just couldn't put an aggressive move on the ball with the AWT

4. Scotty SS NP2 way better than the Betti armlock I was using. More birdies and par saves by a WIDE margin

 

917F2 and 816 H1 have stayed firmly in the bag. They just work. I do find the H1 can get a little hooky so I'd like to try a more "players" hybrid.

Made a bunch of changes this offseason: Driver, fairway wood, irons, putter. Still figuring it out with the driver, irons seem solid and likely to stick, early returns on the putter are promising, but the fairway wood feels like a lock and won't change. Tracking down an old favorite, the Callaway 5Deep. Very happy with it, no thoughts of looking at anything else at the moment.

For me it was going from Srixon 785's to 585's in my short irons. When I got fit I hit the 785's better than the 585's. But in real life it just didn't translate. I was hitting my 4 and 5 irons in 585 better than 7 or 8 in 785. Went to full set of 585 and my iron play is much better.

Switching to the G410 driver from the Epic. Coupled with the G410 3W, all par fives seem to be eagle opportunities. Both are incredibly forgiving and long.

Switching to Ping i200 irons and going back to graphite in them. Just don't play enough for the less forgiving irons that were in the bag. Validation came in my second round with them at home course, hit the green on our very tough 18th with a 6i into the wind. Been a long time since that happened. Honorable mention to the Glide 2.0 wedges that have way better green-side spin than my previous wedges.

Dropped the hybrid for a On Off Kuro 4 iron. Way more accurate and finding greens on longer 3 pars and fits perfect after the 5 iron.... who would've guessed lol!

Replaced my 3 iron (Mizuno MP18 Fli Hi) with a 23 degree hybrid (Titleist 816). That hybrid has become my go to club out of the rough or laying up on Par 5s.

the M5 has truly been a game changer for me. I have so much confidence from the tee and I can manage my misses now. The funnest change this year had to be my Miura CB's. Nothing feels better than a Miura

Ha... I’m working on this... finally have a consistent enough swing I can better plan my approach on holes... I haven’t always executed that plan, and occasionally i still reach for driver when I know I shouldn’t, but it’s getting better

Going back to B330 RX golf balls. I found some longer, but not as forgiving. In fact I just ordered another 2 dozen and good for the year. I wanted to add that the Spider putter is amazing! Just a very solid putter.

Switched from G20 driver to G400 Max. The Max is probably a bit longer, but much straighter.

I think the biggest thing for me this year has been not changing equipment, getting back to basics, and just making a decision and sticking to it.

First, I went to a Ping g400 LST last year and committed to getting better with it. Then I went back to basics and got a milled blade Bettinardi BB29--I bought into the mallet hype, and I may be in the minority here, but I just flat out putt better with a blade. I have also played the Srixon Z Star XV exclusively, and the same irons for 3+ years. So I made a couple changes, but not tinkering every other week has really helped, which is not the most WRX answer but I'm playing better than I have in a long time.

Switching back to 2016 m2 driver that thing is easy to hit and is a bomber for sure, and finally finding the right grind for me in wedges the x grind from callaway is perfect for my steep swing

Switched from a mallet Scotty to an old Studio Select Newport 2. Always thought the blade putter looked great, but wouldn't fit my game. Always would buy one on here and sell it off shortly thereafter and go back to my Futura, but decided to sell off my mallet and stick it out with the NP2, and it has been great (so far).

Got fitted for a new driver. The Cobra F9 won out. Got it with an Oban shaft. I am flat out killing the ball off the tee.
