Anybody know how long it will take to get from the LIRR terminal to the bus, from the bus to the front gates? Trying to plan my day out a bit. Last year it took me over 30 minutes to get from the platform at Shinne into the front gates.

Agreed. The course last week was more like how the playing conditions will be during the tournament proper and Tiger got a couple of solid days practice in. Tiger isn't the Tiger of old physically. He can't hit the amount of balls he used to so he has to prepare differently. I would definitely NOT say Tiger is phoning this one in. On the contrary, he'll be ready. If he drives it straight he will be a force to reckon with.

Tiger shows up a week early - one of the greatest, if not the greatest tactician to take a part a course - recons the course, the course he has finished a 1st and 2nd at that has not been overly changed - Plays 9, range time, gets the speed of the greens in his hands - Takes off on a cold, wet day and saves his back and strength to get up at 4:30-5 am to get ready for early Tee Time.

 

I see nothing here that would make me concerned.

Everyone saying how’s theres little hype and I tend to agree. With the Masters I was so pumped but for the PGA, not so much. Obviously nothing can replicate the Masters but after Tigers win, anything outside Tiger winning the PGA seems like a let down. Maybe I’ll be more pumped after watching it live tomorrow.

PGA.com has featured group and featured hole coverage on 16-18. B/R Live is also offering streaming coverage. The PGA Championship is not on NBC Gold as it's not a PGA Tour (owned) event.

Course is playing soft, just hit his yardages and stick the greens. These aren't Augusta shelves where you've got to surgically cut your ball into the greens with precision. Tiger will be better served to come out fresh on Thursday and *learn* the course/conditions as they present themselves the day-of. He's fine, so much speculation otherwise, and for what?
