I called and changed my order from the 8.0 to the 9.0 SIM. I want a little more adjustability which I was limited on with the 8.0. If I want to play the club slightly open, I don't want the head to be at 7.0 lol

I asked about the Ventus Black shaft and they told me that it wasn’t offered. How much was the upcharge for the ventus if you don’t mind me asking.

It is not offered through Mizuno, but you can find places such as club champion that can put any shaft in there for you. Or you can order the shaft separate and find a builder to put it together.

We'll have very similar setups. I went 44.5" for more control on the HZRDUS Green 70 6.5. Still goes 300 yards without those pesty pushes :)

Lost distance with cobra xtreme, spins too much. I have the f9 with weight forward and new cobra spun around 400 less and I have seen better results with cobra speedzone

SIM max. Always hated the drivers. Could never hit them but this one killed my flash SZ Super consistent, over the years I’ve slowly added more TaylorMade products to my bag. That’s a shocker for me.

I went yesterday (Wednesday) to my local Roger Dunn and traded in my Epic Flash SZ and a couple other clubs and walked out with a Mavrik 9º SZ. I just swapped my current shaft into it and it is really good. The sound is a lot better and the flight is awesome for my swing. Was so excited I hit the range after!

I was surprised at the low spin I was getting with the max. I normally have high spin driver #’s. The dispersion with it was the deciding factor.

SIM has my interest. Haven't gamed a Taylormade driver since the Burner days. I am fully aware I probably won't gain any distance over my ST190, GBB Epic sz or Rogue sz...but who doesn't like new toys?

I'm going to see if my local GG has LH heads to try tomorrow.
