I was really pulling for Homa to steal this one. He's been playing so well lately.

Adam Scott's 14th PGA Tour win puts him in a tie for 65th on the all time PGA Tour Wins List.

Others with 14 wins include Bruce Crampton, Kenny Perry, Hal Sutton (who won his PGA at Riviera), Art Wall Jr and Ken Venturi.

Adam will pass Justin Rose to go back to #6 on the all time money list at just over $55,000,000. (it's over 7 mil to get to DJ at #5)

Of all the players currently using the long putter, Scott is the one most clearly not anchoring it. I don't have a problem with how he uses it. Billy Mayfair however....

Great win for Scott against a very strong field. I would love to see him pick up another major this year. Despite his dodgy putting, someone of his talent should have more than one in his locker.

Rory is still the best driver ever, although not quite as sharp today. His wedge play is his achilles heel imo....just not consistent enough. Tiger in his day was money day and in and day out with wedges. When you drive like Rory if you back in what up with wedge you're unbeatable. He just lacks touch with that club.

I would need to see a distribution of his misses from say inside 6ft in order to form a true opinion. A guy can be an 85% free throw shooter, but if most of the misses that make up that other 15% come in the last 3 minutes of games, 85% might not mean as much.

Rory dropped to a T5 after having 54-hold lead. It certainly feels like a missed opportunity.

 

Rory is jacking up OWGR points, but it feels like he just cannot close.

I am very happy that Adam Scott won, but I am also very disappointed in the weekend performances of the following guys in order

 

TW : I knew Riviera wasn't his track, but TBH after his first round score I thought he would make me eat my words, horrible weekend

RM : played 3 great rounds actually thought he would go real low on Sunday and run away from the field, no excuse for Sunday

DJ : when he got in contention and near the lead I thought game over, seems to have lost a little drive

JS: he has been breaking my heart for the better part of two seasons

BK : I still expect huge things from him

JT : scratching my head wondering WTH happened
