Thats a model 1680 pictured, there are no white gold indices on the dial - they are painted on lume dots. His model has a date, but no cyclops. I guess the proportions are throwing me off without the cyclops.

Oh, I was replying more to the "no cyclops? Looks fake" comment, lots of people pretty much think Rolex = date/cyclops. Also I wasn't saying that his was an 114060, just you can get non-dates now and that the newer non-date Sub is 114060. I know you're pretty well Rolex-versed, most aren't. Sorry for the confusion.

Part of the Golf Digest masthead reads: "Discovery Golf is a division of Discovery, Inc. that includes Golf Digest and GolfTV Powered by the PGA Tour." Tiger is heavily featured throughout the issue. I see all of this as part of a plan by The PGA Tour and Tiger to control their own content through the GolfTV app using GD as sort of an "ESPN The Magazine". I also see it as the beginning of the end of Golf Channel as we know it.

With Tiger's "creative content" deal with Discovery, Inc., he is wisely setting up the future for his brand... for his Foundation, Instructional Videos, Live Stream Special Events, Benefit Concerts, Clinics and Product Endorsements. Tiger is marketing for the future, regardless of how his playing career ends up.

It comes with a "XX Golf Association Member Benefit" right on the address section and that's the only reason I have ever gotten one. I will generally leave them out on the table in my office if somebody wants to flip through them, great, if not, it will get tossed when the next one comes.

They never used to be readily available here in the north of Scotland. I remember being younger and being able to buy copies when we were on holiday and thinking that it was brilliant. Somehow they then became available here through a local newspaper shop. I pick them up every now and then and always wonder why I wasted my money. One big infomercial with the occasional two paragraph story. Sad to see.
