Anyone test one of these out yet? Seems like it would be a beast paired with the TSi3, which is what it looks like JT has been doing for a few weeks now.

I did test one just last week with my SIM Max head.  Think of it like Graphite Design TP line with a touch less spin.  It wasn't good enough numbers wise on flight scope to kick the Ventus black 7x I currently game, but it convinced my cousin who tagged along with me to get one on the spot.  He was gaming an OG UST VTS silver 6sx so he was long overdue anyway.

I know it’s not a stock option but here’s to hoping these are available without a ridiculous up charge on the new tsi line.

I was told by DD's that it is not an option through Titleist, regardless of cost.

Hi All!

Keep an eye out for this new product hitting professional tours in September.

Diamana TB is going to feature a few new technologies that we are VERY excited to bring to you! Featuring weights and flexes from 40 R2 to 80TX, the custom fitting options are endless.

We think this new shaft will be very popular with GolfWRX forum members. For up to date info - follow us on Twitter @MCGolfShafts and on Instagram @mitsubishichemicalgolf

Let us know if you have any further questions!

How does the TB compare to the ZF? I hit the ZF extremely well, but need about 200 more spin. Could the TB fill that need? It's hard to compare the EI curve with the TB being the only shaft on there and not having a reference point.

I am also curious about this. Has anyone had a chance to compare the TB to some other big boy shafts?

You might try the BF. Spin highest to lowest is RF,BF,ZF,DF in that gen.

Just got it with the following specs-

head: sim max 3-wood

shaft specs: 70-S

Stats-

Ball speed: 158

carry: 275

I almost went with this shaft for the driver but I got MUCH lower spin number from the Tour AD XC 6-X.

But LOVING it in my 3-wood!

That ball speed doesn't really match up with your carry number for 3 metal, but stranger things have happened.  My carry back when I was younger with 3 metal was around 270 to 275ish carry on trackman and my ball speed was closer to 168ish so my point is that I'm trying to give you a point of reference on what your ball speed should be for that carry distance.

https://destination-golf.com/driver-distance-calculator/

That's just a general guideline chart to take a look at.  Notice how it says for 3 metal the carry distance for 158 ball speed is 243.  My intention isn't to call you out or embarrass you but I think that the launch monitor you were on was juiced up to the max and were given erroneous info.  I would seriously question the fitter you went to.

I'm curious if you were getting similar numbers to your Ventus Black 7X with the TB? They are two way different profiles so I would expect there would be a massive difference right? To you change you loft setup with the TB when trying it?

They are totally different profiles and the numbers were not similar.  The TB launched about 2 degrees more and 500 to 700 more rpm on trackman if memory serves me right.  I tested both with the same exact head.

Okay, just making sure because I thought when you said "It wasn't good enough numbers wise on flight scope to kick the Ventus black 7x I currently game" you were comparing the two as if it gave you the same numbers or close to the same. Sorry if I misconstrued it. I was looking at going a different direction than my Ventus Black I'm gaming now so I'm trying to gather some info on similar shafts. Any chance you have demo'd the Diamana D Limited? I am trying to find someone who has compared the Ventus Black and that and may have some trackman numbers.

Diamana ZF ... went to it from a Ventus and before that a IZ ... ZF is fantastic. I only wish I had gone a little heavier.

Demo'ed the D+ but not the limited.  My trackman numbers for my current set up was 15 degrees launch with +2 AoA and 2100 rpm.  Ball speed averaging 175.

Problem is I'm crooked off the tee especially on bad days.  Ball striking is also suspect as well at times.  Double edged sword so to speak.

@phizzy30 , here's the trackman data. I think the total ydage might be applicable for pretty firm conditions, but this is what I got :). 3-wood data with club champion:

Those 3 wood numbers must be off a tee for spin to be that low or the fitter mislabeled your driver.

Hey @noodle3872, these were 3 wood numbers off the deck and it was the only club I hit in the fitting. What is pretty unique for me was the attack angle of 4.5 deg. Now, when I take it out on the course, this 3-wood is not too different from my driver(...so now I need to update my 7 year old driver...)

I’ve seen similar numbers with my Rbz TS head and addi 8x ..... for whatever reason I can simply murder that thing.  Many times the spin is lower than I can produce with driver.  I’d kill for a driver I maximized like that 3 wood.

you're saying you have a +4.5* angle of attack on a 3w off the deck?....nope. no sir. not even in the realm of possible to achieve those numbers.
