Great to see Tiger keep himself in the tournament in round 1. Hopefully he has a similar round 2 and can make the cut / be in striking distance of the lead.

Tiger on the leaderboard makes a golf tournament 10 times better.

I think he has too many offline drives and missed short putts to win, but you ca never count him out.

I think BK will be hard to beat this week.

Hey Blade, welcome back!

Since I'm somewhat local to there...

If you pull up google maps on the course, that lake (Lake Merced) is set in a basin with the Olympic Club to the southest, and Harding Park somewhat in the middle. The basin is pretty pronounced there, the trees pretty tall, and the surrounds all green golf courses, so you get a lot of reflection. Also it's decently shallow and California lakes/ponds tend to have green mossy/algae stuff growing in them. Also looked like a pretty grey day from what I saw so not a lot of blue sky to reflect in the water.

In other words it doesn't look great to swim in? I did not notice but will pay more attention this afternoon. Didn't watch much. Was landscaping around the house all day. I plan on watching most of Tiger's round today.

Higher winds today for Tiger - he goes out at 1.58pm and the forecast is for 13mph winds and sunny. (not too strong winds, I guess)

We'll see how he copes.. might see a few a few stingers.

Well it’s cut day. I think I heard 70 and ties so pretty many can get in. Excited to see how everyone adjusts. Most excited to watch Bryson in the morning and Tiger in the afternoon. I felt yesterday’s coverage was decent once they got it rolling. Everyone enjoy your day.

Well it turns out you get relief from green water, if it's home to the fireant fish, if marked by fences.

inevitably this story leads to one conclusion. Tiger and Bryson make up because they are homies and go spear fishing together.

Tiger says to Bryson that he’s sick of Bruce picking on BD. “Let’s invite Bruce ‘fishing’ with us after the PGA.” Bryson agrees and they invite Bruce.

Long story short Bruce is excited for this “fishing” trip but pretends like he’s super uninterested, like how Bruce is about everything. Little does he know that this trip he will go “missing” under “mysterious circumstances” never to be seen again.

BD is never made fun of by Bruce again. Tiger and BD continue their bromance like only they can.
