JT says Charlie talks smack like Tiger

Yea but this is how competitors pass on the gene.  Like his dad rattled him during shots and made him play from the men’s tees etc.  along the way you learn to give the needle same as you take it.

Having watch a few of these one off events with Tiger.. He does not seem to have that great of a sense of humor or has shown to be quick witted..

I think that’s the game though. See , Phil’s needle is wide and long.  It can cut deep if enough pressure is applied , but for most it’s just a blunt irritant.  
 

tiger seems to only go in for the kill shot.  One of those you think misses until you turn your head and it falls off.

Phil is a great trash talker....but he is also very easy to trash talk back.

Tiger? He’s smart enough to keep it boring on camera. He must let any comments that come to mind wade through several “media appropriate” filters before he speaks with cameras or the public around. 

 

You hear from a lot of pros that he is particularly funny and, depending on the circumstances, I imagine, could completely eviscerate anybody he’s playing golf with.

Hard to judge without knowing the context of the relationship but it’s pretty obnoxious obviously.

Really hard to judge without context.  Considering jt is telling the story it seems like Charlie should get the benefit of the doubt.  If he didn’t think  it was funny I’m sure he would keep it to himself.  My Godchildren go hard at me and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  It is all in good fun and if JT is laughing who are we to judge a relationship we know nothing about?

Possibly.  there are tons of reports he is fairly awkward and uncertain in social settings.

 

whether that is him being 100% always on gaurd or being raised as an only child and laser focused on one thing. I have no idea..

Yes, well, as long as he learns it’s a two way street. Cause, in the real world, doesn’t matter who you are, how much bucks you have, you’ll run into somebody(s) who will have more money, be from what they consider “better stock” socially, and cut you down to size. 
 

Except Putin, of course, nobody trash talks him to his face, I guarantee!

Yea. My boy (12) goes hard at me , especially now that he’s made the school basketball team and gives me a serious run for my money 1 on 1.  He’s beaten me many times now.   So the “ old man “ comments come out on the court.   But he knows where the line is between “ yard talk “ and “ kitchen table talk “ is.  I made sure of it.      Nothing wrong with some good intended banter.  I also give as good as I get.
